We were very much here, but was consumed with Company bidness for two solid hours, sigh man, and then it was past time for zzz, man. For the first time in recorded history, didn't even empty the dishwarsher before going to bed, no man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

we're not celebrating the day of the dead on November 1st! That's one of my favorite holidays celebrated in Ecuador. sad.png

I've never out-figured how the dead could celebrate their day, or any day, for that matter, no man.

Well, gee man... as few contributors here at 12:30 daytime as at 12:30 night. Being bemused by this and quite self-amused by my own hilarious writings, I shall off-log and return probably tonight, aniversario man. Maybe. Maybe not. Once she's learned what I'm doing with cow poo, she'll dive right in and 'get it'. But, there's rumours we're to go to Galveston often for relaxing, and that's the big thing, the carrot on the stick.

At least she understands a bit more about organic stuff, as last year she bought in to an organic chicken egg compound and handled the sales orders for her city. She's coming along, slowly.

eh - she likes the ocean, but there's parts of Detroit with boat docks and marinas. She's lived close to the big river most of her life and likes to jog at the riverbank often. Still, when she learned Galveston was just an hour's drive away, she came up with her leisure plans very quickly. I'm just happy she not learn about the Chinese Bus Excursions into the Indian Gambling Casinos, but I say that with a twinge of horror, as there's a pickup point just outside the largest asian market...

I remember when Tiff lost 20 bucks for the first time in her life (out of the 300 I gave her) She was crying lol...I mean literally tears with the head down, sobbing lol
