That's the lung and the short of it. Speedy recovery to you & Cletus the Fetus.

A poem in your hono(u)r (ahem, harrumph):

TB, or not TB; that is the congestion.

Consumption be done about it?

Of cough! Of cough!

OMG T-bone how on earth do you come up with this stuff rofl.gif

People who get stents don't have very long life spans afterwards. I think its something like 5 more years??? It supposedly that location on that artery doesn't get blocked again, but the underlying cause is still there.

Yes that is what they told my exH too bad hes still kicking. He had 3 put in, total waste of money hes a druggie and alcoholic.

I remember when my oldest daughter was three, we got hit with a blizzard that brought 28 inches of snow. This was also the year my daughter figured out how great Trick or Treating was, go to houses, ring the bell, get candy. After I carried her around our circle of 7 houses, I attempted to bring her home, which led to pitching a fit like only a three year old can manage. There was already over a foot of snow on the ground, and the wind was making the snow get inside every bit of clothing we had on. I told her we could keep going, but she needed to walk because I was too tired to carry her any longer. It worked, as she couldn't get anywhere with the snow that deep. So I carried her back into the house, where lots of trick or treat candy was waiting for all the kids who would not be coming that night.

Hope you avoid what ever bug is trying to get you.

Caryh I used to have to buy Halloween costumes much bigger so they would fit over the kids snowsuits, hats and mitts.

I am enjoying it.

I like Fresh Market so it’s easier to work somewhere where I like the atmosphere and product.

I like the majority of the people I work with so far and I just try to keep out of the little bits of girl drama.

Are you looking at moving Steve?

hiker! Glad to hear you are well. smile.png Hope the housework goes alright!

Thanks. :)

Got my spaghetti squash in cooking for a healthy lunch for the teen when she gets home.

I should be able to get away with just some tidying and light cleaning.

All is well with you?

We were talking about this at work and how kids here can wear the pretty princess costumes and such.

I can’t say I miss that bitter cold that happens at home.

Good to see that you're enjoying your job.

No, not looking at moving. I'm just throwing out a lowball offer on an open house that I came across. If I get it, great. I'll buy it as an investment property. If not, ah well....

Hiker - I'm glad to see that the move has gone well and that work is working out.

Uhhh, these buyers want to push the closing to December 1st now! On one hand, I am happy because it gives us more time to finish clearing out, but on the other hand.... I just want this to be over. The second Estate Sale went fantastically well, so that is good.

Oooh, jealous! I can't wait for the first snowfall here so hubby can experience what it's like.

In other news, I want to kill my boss and I desperately need a new job. Despite apply everywhere, I've received no callbacks worth getting excited over. :( How's a girl supposed to make a living around here when all they wanna pay is min wage? Jeez.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

I feel you, they pay a tiny bit more than minimum wage here, but the minimum rent on an apartment is 1200! <---Why I don't even bother to work. I was getting paid $13/hr for working customer service at a retail job here about 5 years ago, but it was the worst job I'd ever had and by worst, I do mean worst. Now, it seems most of the jobs, even overnight are only paying $10/hour and none of the places want to hire for more than 30 hours a week.

Yuck.

All my current problems in a nutshell. I could find a decent DC apartment for around 900 bucks a month, but coupled with all our othet expenses we would really be pushing it if we were both only making like 8.5$ :( I'm dying here! Somebody hire me!

On the bright side, I'm doing really well at school. They might even be able to take some of my Ecuadorian credits to shorten my study time here. Woohoo!

On a good note at my work, since we're all talking about work, (Glad your work is going well hiker!!) I was recognized at the team leader meeting as being the amazing team member for the month of Oct for my section. YAY. Granted it was out of 6 people but my team lead bought me lunch and told me how proud he was. It was nice! Everyone new in the store also got a .50 cent raise, YAY.

Not a doctor here, but have gleaned info on the subject. The implanted stents are almost always accompanied by blood-thinners (lifelong aspirin and warfarin). There are two types of stents: bare-metal and (the newer) drug-eluting. The drug-eluting stents emit drugs to help to prevent further blockage.

Good handling of the story. Trick-or-treating is predicted to be a total washout here, with the peak of the storm during, uh, peak witching hour. Fortunately, Mini-B. is too little to be disappointed by it, wee man.

Sweet story: I took him around the 'hood last year. At the first house, he was offered a big tub of candy. He picked one and offered it back to the hosts. When instructed that he should take more than one and put them in his little bucket, he put three in, then pulled out the first one and offered it back to the hosts. He dragged me to the next house (with the first candy in hand) and immediately offered it to that neighbor.

At the subdivision Christmas party that year, he kept offering cookies to Santa Claus.

Now, he's turned at least partially into a 2-year-old tyrant, with the "Mine!" business. I have hope that he'll revert to his little cute self.

Thanks for asking. Any bug that bites me dies a horrible death. I nuke it with antibiotics and anything else that I can get my hands on. I felt lousy this morn but am better this eve. Mrs. T-B. ridiculed my armamentarium of medications until I got it through to her that when a gringo offers you a pill, or suggests that you take one, it's a sign of true love, si man.

Almost spit out my coffee rofl.gif

Thank you for spatting, Dear (but no +1? Hmmmph). I trust that we shall rather imminently not see you here for some time, given the pending arrival of HoneyBun or whatever his name is, whee man.
