It's those Scandinavians, being too good at languages and whatnot. It makes me so jealous how well they appear to pick up other languages. Makes me feel dumb for not knowing more.

I want to learn an interesting language like that. Then again, I don't know what I'd do with it in rural Pennsylvania.

You can attend any meeting, or approach any customer-service desk, and say, in increasing volume and agitation:

"Ven ozzle haffen de henvay?" "Ven ozzle haffen de henvay?!" "Ven ozzle haffen de henvay?!!!"

Wave arms (like a Manabito) for greater effect, see man.

My wife and I use her language to talk and no one around us knows what we're saying. Unless we're around her Filipino friends.

Surgery, or stents? Which coronary artery/arteries?

People who get stents don't have very long life spans afterwards. I think its something like 5 more years??? It supposedly that location on that artery doesn't get blocked again, but the underlying cause is still there.

Supposed to rain Maine Coons and St. Bernards here on Halloween. Fortunately, Mini-B. is too little to know to be disappointed by it, and he has a party on Wednesday anyway. Mrs. T-B. & I planned to do anniversary dinner later Thurs. anyway, so maybe we'll simply start oaring the ark earlier and not worry about this crucial holiday, si and no man.

Of course, all could be moot if I get sick, which it seems is happening, sneeze man.

I remember when my oldest daughter was three, we got hit with a blizzard that brought 28 inches of snow. This was also the year my daughter figured out how great Trick or Treating was, go to houses, ring the bell, get candy. After I carried her around our circle of 7 houses, I attempted to bring her home, which led to pitching a fit like only a three year old can manage. There was already over a foot of snow on the ground, and the wind was making the snow get inside every bit of clothing we had on. I told her we could keep going, but she needed to walk because I was too tired to carry her any longer. It worked, as she couldn't get anywhere with the snow that deep. So I carried her back into the house, where lots of trick or treat candy was waiting for all the kids who would not be coming that night.

I saw some Ecus in Guayaquil talking with their hands during a heated post-car-accident caucus, see man.

Mrs. T-B. still comes up with some doozy nonsense words, or badly mispronounces one that I have to ask her to spell. I'll try to remember a few, si man. Meanwhile, here is the classic:

Mrs. T-B.: I bought you cheap.

T-B.: What did you say?

Mrs. T-B.: I bought you cheap.

T-B.: You bought me cheap? What the dickens does THAT mean? I'm not that cheap. And don't let Immigration hear you say that.

Mrs. T-B.: Cheap, CHEAP! I bought you CHEAP!

Further investigation revealed that she had gone to the store and bought me a bag of potato cheaps, si man.

I was visiting my wife in her country, and she was making lunch with her mother.

So she comes to me and says "Would you like soap?"

Me "Why do I smell, I just bathed a couple hours ago?"

Her "No, would you like soap?"

Me "You mean to wash my hands?"

Her "No SOAP, SOAP, SOAP!!!!" and walks away disgusted.

A few minutes later she returns with a bowl of fish head soup.

Conversely, how she used to say soap sounded more like soup, than when she tried to say soup.

He was 90 percent blocked on one side, and 30 % on the other....dunno the details. He's a single guy.

Hello everyone. Decided to not try to catch up on all I have missed. Too much.

Work is going well. I’m getting used to the long hours and all of the standing.

The weather here has been chillier than normal and I think brrrr….then I look at the weather reports back home and think YAY! I’m here.

I hope everyone is in good health.

Going to get some home cooking and housework done today as I feel like my family has been neglected by my weird shifts and long hours.
