Halloween party tonight

Hubby and I are going to a party his coworkers are throwing tonight, but we have to go in costume to be let in the front door. Anybody have any cute costume ideas? I completely forgot about it until last night, and he's a huge procrastinator... now I'm scurrying to find something to whip up before 9 PM.

2. black cloth

3. gold/yellow cloth.

make matching Bumble Bee Costumes !

1. cut the cloth, 18 inch bands

2. staple the bands together, horizontally

3. add some stuffing round the waist/hips area.

No, strangely enough, he adds them. He puts "s" where they shouldn't be, and usually smooshes all the middle consonants together. Example: "dijiste" becomes "dijistes" and "cara de verga" (excuse the profanities, it was the first example that came to mind) becomes "careverga". It's apparently more difficult for foreigners to understand than mountainous accents, but it's what I've been most exposed to so I'm understandably more comfortable with it.

I must definitely caucus with Mrs. T-B. about this, si man. It ain't Guayaquil dialect and it ain't mountainous dialect, no and no man.

Much success at the GS activity Saturday, whee man, and didn't even need a route map. Chief purchases were several bottles of "complete" fluoride mouthwash, for less than any retail sales price + coupons; a new train set for Mini-Bone for $3 (Mrs. T-B. charmed the guy down from $5); and a huge Radio Flyer wagon (plastic, unfortunately) for Mini-B., for $20 (Mrs. T-B. charmed the guy down from $25).

Also got a pair of brown Bass loafers for $1. They are used but have potential for business or (more likely) casual. Need to get them to Mexico for a professional shine, gleam man.

After the above, used several about-to-expire coupons to dine lustily at Wendy's for cheap; returned home to nap (with cat); arose to attend informal, near-impromptu family caucus; returned home to nap again (with cat); played with Mini-B.; warshed dishes and (in keeping with role as Official Thread Laundress) kitchen rags. Shall now off-log in favo(u)r of emptying dishwarsher, folding kitchen rags, ministering to cat (underfoot, patiently waiting), prepping for bed, and going there, zzz man.
