and talk of ties....when I first got married....the bush b1tch would wash my ties in the washer.....then she learned that you can't do that. And so she washed them by hand.....now she's somewhat no longer a bush b1tch.....she does the American thing....

I like metallic paisley, also, but

I not wear them this decade. Most of my ties were college repp.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Novembro, I already work at a daycare. I wouldn't mind it if it paid me something I could freaking live off of.

My problem seems to be that I have no formal experience outside of teaching, and I'd really like more of an office job. All the places I've applied to seem to want someone with office experience, but if nobody wants to hire me, how the ^/$ am I going to get any experience? Grr. My only solace lies in the fact that hubby seems to be doing very well for himself, so hopefully he'll get a promotion soon enough and make up for my super suckage.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

Childcare work is pretty low paying. Have you thought about nannying? It is a lot more cash directly in your pocket. Here the starting pay is about $480/week for a nanny, usually more like $600.

Because I ran my own used book selling business while I was in middle and high school, I was able to get office jobs and cash office jobs in stores, but it can be tough.

It is so much easier for men, my husband makes more than I ever could with the same level of education.

I'm halfway through an international business degree, but my not having finished yet has a lot to do with my difficulty in finding a job here. Nola, I have considered being a nanny, but it's tough since I'm still in school - my schedule makes it hard to be available all the time like a nanny would need to be, unfortunately. Blergh. Persistance is key, I suppose.
