I didn't get an interview. Turns out I wasn't even considered. It was hilarious though, when the HR rep called to inform me, she told me that they were so impressed with my work and that they would like me to freelance for them.

SERIOUSLY?

You told me to apply for the job, I got amazing references and when you don't even give me an interview, you want me to do the job for free while someone else gets the salary?

#### no, man.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

well, hang on.

sometimes (actually, usually) freelancing pays more. at least 1.5 to 2 times what the salary is.

Keep that in mind.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I can relate. I've been looking for a new job like crazy and applying all over the place and gotten nothing so far. Getting discouraged. ): If hubby and I ever want to move out (and we desperately do at this point) I'm going to need a better paying gig. SOMEONE HIRE ME. D:

Where the bejesus did this cold weather come from? I am in serious need of some winter gear. Four years in tropical weather ill prepared me for another PA winter.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

Wacko....this is when you don't slow down.....

You speed up. Create a reputation that preceeds you.

You're still young with this company.

If I still know you when you're 33ish. Then I'll know what you're made of.

And part 5, wear a color of power. Red.

Both of you, introduce that color to your wardrobe.

Want a second opinion? Ask the old man......

Red is such an aggressive color. I don't like it.

Red is not such a great looking color on a lot of pasty folks. secret7vf.gif

I like College Repp or Division Ties.

Them stripe-y things, with red as primary.

2nd choice, is purple-ish muted paisley.

It's always fun to dress up as a Republican Page Boy.

I had many sales deals signed, wearing that stuff.
