Skipper, can you finance a project for one of my many million dollar ideas?

Here's mine, see man:

Continuously reaching over and slapping the tap-nap button on the alarm clock is inefficient and irritating. What we need is a system that intravenously injects the amount of caffeine in two cups of coffee into our bloodstreams when the alarm first goes off. This would result in fewer body-part strains (back, elbow, wrist) from rolling over to smack the clock, and would result in greater efficiency for the Developed World in that people would arise and be functional more quickly. It could also lower the divorce rate among those who have been unfortunate enough to be married to "morning persons." We can worry about FDA approval later, si man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

make it solar powered......

That would yield energy credits, but wouldn't work in, say, Alaska during winter, or Seattle more than 3 days/year, no man.

Menfolk need to be able to take a nap whenever they please, as lengthily as they please, without interference or nagging.

Convince my wife of that. She's got this thing of sticking her finger in my nose when I fall into a nap. She thinks its so funny how I jump as soon as the long fingernail touches my nose. But I tell you, it totally blows away any chance of sleep. I've finally found a way to get her back though, I stick my finger in her ear rofl.gif

There's nothing to do in Alaska besides sleep 6 months out the year anyway.

sup. supposedly hubby is finally getting a check this week.

They are only paying for 4 weeks though because doctor cleared him 4 weeks ago because he said this 'I can't do anything else for you. go back to work when it feels better and it could take up to 8 weeks. if it still hurts after 8 weeks, come back).

Well... I think we're going back this week. SIGH.

He says it feels like permanent arthritis in his finger now.

Menfolk need to be able to take a nap whenever they please, as lengthily as they please, without interference or nagging.

Then, wife is free to do whatever she wants to hubby. Waxing, lipstick, toenail polish, wet willy, etc.

Actually, I let my husband nap a lot, he works a really physical job and sometimes just needs a rest.

You stick your finger in your husbands's nose too? I really just don't get why she does it, but if it stops I'm going to assume somethings wrong.

I just spank Tiff when she's napping.....

You don't fork her?

I always thought forking meant you know....

I go through phases in which I like to bother him in such ways, both sleeping and not. Mostly because it is kind of our thing. I just don't know how to stop now.

House sale may yet go through.... shocked.gif

Agree. Best done, when no legal contract in place.

have a legal contract in place? you sleep when she sleeps.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
