Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

As long as fire ants aren't crawling up & down your nose-hairs, the Malathion did its job.

Well, what if there's a whole IT department, and some VP who for some reason focuses on "consuming organizational resources," and individual log-in newly required for Internet use? This is hypothetical.

Set bandwidth for said VP down to an manageable level and ignore. Can't go pissing off VP's. I deal with owners here, but they mostly behave, except for one who likes to receive and send emails that violate company policy. The policy is in place to save his butt from trouble, so if he doesn't care, I'm not going to tell him he has to. Just like I don't worry too much when he complains about something that doesn't work right on his computer when he's busy adding all types of software he doesn't need, and won't let me look at his computer when the problem is occurring. Maybe he's got some naked women picture or race bashing pictures in his email he doesn't want me to see?

aaaand caught up on the thread, now I can go to bed and tomorrow I shall eat my homemade bread. Btw: raisin, walnut bread - first time making bread - good stuff, I am told. Also made veggie curry and pulled pork and something else I cannot remember.

Posting a pic of the new puppy we got. Meet "Debbie" or, as my hubby says, meet " a lot of fur and not a lot of brain"

Cute puppy. I just picked up a new foster dog this weekend. Its a Chihuahua crossed with probably some type of terrier. Looks exactly like a Chihuahua, only he's about twice the size of a normal one at about 14 lbs. The emergency foster who had for a day, said he wasn't house broken, but he seems to be doing just fine at my house.

My last dog was still around when she was born. He lived till 16.5. He was the greatest dog ever. When kiddo stumbles across her kindred spirit, I'll take that dog home.....

OCD Tiff doesn't want a dog. But too bad......

I have to go get a 5 year anniversary gift for her.....traditionally it's something made of wood.....

Like a 2 dollar pair of chopsticks :)

You going to start with a puppy or go with an adult dog? Puppies you mold into what you want, although its impossible to tell what they have in their nature until they grow up. A dog can already show you what they are, most have issues by being raised wrong, and you train those out of them. Sometimes you find adult dogs needing a home that are totally fantastic and raised right, already perfectly trained. You just add on the new things you want them to be trained for.

You're supposed to wait until the 5 year to give your spouse wood? I guess I'm ahead of the game on that. wink.png

I've had many dogs. So I know them well. When kiddo comes across her dog, she'll know it. Know what I mean? Age of dog isn't that important. Actually, the boxer 2 doors over and kiddo are crazy about each other. He's quite protective of her. He's always looking for her.

I give Tiff steel......

Yep I know what you mean. The foster dog I have now is not my kind of dog, but he's noticed I'm the alpha in the house, so he sticks to me like glue already.

What type of batteries was in that steel?

Our first paper anniversary went by and I told the Dane that if he wanted to get me a gift it had to be paper and that it should be a poem. rofl.gif At least he knew I was kidding.

You could get her a game of Jenga?

sheldons-jenga.jpg

Or something traditional like a cedar chest or a piece of furniture or a jewelry box?
