TB- your cat sounds like a saucy brat!

She's usually a total sweetheart, miu man. She seems to realize that Mini-B. (her little brother) is a "human kitten" and hasn't retaliated for any of his toddling transgressions. Today, she & I had fun respectively chasing and throwing a wadded-up Burger King wrapper (our favorite game, albeit more usually with Arby's wrappers), and she licked the remnants of my dinner bowl when Mrs. T-B. wasn't looking, and she slept with me very congenially during Sunday's nap, and she just sat her corpulent self on my lap for the last 5 minutes for some above-the-neck scratching. For this last reason, I was typing with one hand until just now, carpal-tunnel man.

Better to stop at multiple ones to increase one's chance of landing something, see man. Search the neighborhood papers (weeklies, if these exist) for ads, and look on Craigslist throughout the week for compatible ads, and use MapQuest to plan your routes most efficiently, see man. Schedule more than you think you want to visit, because some will be duds and others will be phantom, sigh man.

Because you have the flexibility to take weekdays off, attend the opening o'dark-thirty moments of the first day of each promising-looking sale, zzz man, for the best selection. Always offer lower than priced, $i man.

I was missing the previous one on Wed. & Thurs., and then on Fri. I came home to see that there had been a kitchen accident and one of the last two bowls that she'd eaten from (on the morn when I took her for euthanizing) was broken. The bowl-breaking was heartbreaking, sigh man. I have just two other sets of bowls that she'd eaten out of, now.

OL (Official Laundress) Report: I warshed 2 loads on Saturday and 5 on Sunday, ufff man, and changed all 3 beds without Help From Anybody, and pulled the edger from the dark garage corner where Mrs. T-B. had crammed it for the last several months, gassed/primed/pulled approx. 850,712 times to start it, edged the driveway/sidewalk/patio, mowed the resultant detritus and the entire huge back yard, and leaf-blewed (past tense of leaf-blow) the resultant detritus from the pavement areas, and toddler-sat Mini-B. for 2.5 highly interactive hours while Mrs. T-B. went gallivanting with her amigas, and managed to finish 4 papers that I'd brought home from work, si man. Otherwise, 'twas the typical lazy Sunday (fourth in a row) during which I did not leave the house, si and no man.

It was worse last year when previous cat's electronic litterbox died. I did keep the ramp to it (currently installed on the new one within 3 feet of me) with plans to retire it the day after the 2-year anniversary of The Passing.

New cat is very sweet (just sat on lap again) but hasn't barfed visibly (see and answer the "Cat Barf, Si Man" poll in the Polls forum, see and answer man) and hasn't farted on me even once. It doesn't seem like a genuine relationship even after 1.5 years, no man.

Mrs. T-B. is hosting the Mommy Group (meaning with toddlers of Mini-B.'s approximate age) here tomorrow, so I must Not Cross Her between now and the time I leave for work, no man.

Parting Rant: During mow-lawning earlier, I was bitten -- in late October -- by at least 2 hormigas del fuego (fire ants). What is Heaven's purpose for this, huh man?

Am overdue for bed yet again, sigh man. Shall exit thread, brush cat (this is what she's been jockeying for all night), and prep for bed and then go there, zzz man.
