the feral pigs have been sighted about 20 miles from my property.......the NY DEC has requested all hunters help destroy the animals. But my neighbors are saying that the population is spreading towards us........

smarties kill 10 on a weekend, and give away to their city-buddies during the week.

No, but it says something about a company when their HR department can't even keep an interview appointment. To blow off three separate appointments is ridiculous.

I would posit that, under those circumstances, one would not even want to waste their time with people like that.

In business, I set the standard that I don't wait longer than 30 minutes even for the president of General Motors.

In social life, I set the standard that if a chica stood me up even once, she was off my list.

Probably the reason you thought mutton was goat was because most people say "lamb" when referring to eating a sheep. But lamb is to mutton what veal is to steak. biggrin.png I never did understand the fascination with it being okay to eat a baby sheep but not a baby cow?!

I have a friend, who once upon a time, wanted a Holstein steer, to "save it" from certain death. I found out later she is irrationally afraid of mice. I told her that owning a farm was going to be completely out of the question for her as mice like them, very much. She decided to send her energy elsewhere, quite wisely. She is one of those people, however, that always like the newest thing like colloidal silver or not using microwaves or deodorant, and is constantly looking up cancer and ways to get it. In my honest opinion, simply being alive is the risk.
