Ok, so I was accepted into this university and they transfer all my esoteric classes I don't care about, but none of the math and science classes despite them clearly being indicated as to what they are? They claim they need syllabi for all 21 of them from when I took them to transfer it, but the syllabi say nothing more than what is in the catalog and are long since gone. I'm not sure what to do, but I'm not taking any of the lower level maths over again - I only have 3 left!!!

Well couldn't you manifest the syllabi from the places where you took the courses? Of course you can.....

I can get syllabi from other professors who are currently teaching the course (they have department wide syllabi at this one particular school), but yes 21 courses and things that should be plainly transferable, i.e. Calculus II, III, Ordinary Differential Equations, etc. You get the drift. I only have 3 courses left to complete a math major, but obviously most schools require 30+ in house credits for graduation and at this particular school I am just starting on that, but I am also double majoring so it shouldn't be a problem. It is just that we are talking about 7 math classes, which is roughly 25 credits in mathematics that I'm having to prove, which I was not expecting.

Yes she did! She was bumped up to first class and met the pilots too. I now know I have to meet her at the gate (unlike what the phone operator told me which was at baggage) to which I need a gate pass. Prolly cause there is no customs in DIA unlike where she flew out.

Hopefully the ride home goes just as smoothly. But I plan on enjoying the week until she's gone.. Today was pj day!

God damn I miss her so much all the time though. Hugging her brings me to tears each time (which I try to hide because I don't want her to think I'm sad... I'm just so happy she's here but so sad she can't stay.)

OK. Outline of a plan, for you:

1. go to Japan

2. hang out at coastal city with mountain range 20 kilometers away.

3. go round to all of the noodle stalls (not resturants) and chat up the local talent at breakfast and lunchtime.

4. invite the ones you deem worthy of an interview, out for the evening.

5. rinse and repeat till you find one or two.

I suggest doing this during the wintertime, as the daughters who are the hard workers usually are actually working during the winter. Also, the swarthiness is gone by the wintertime, so that's a plus.

So, when you get that, get a signed letter from the dean of the mathematics department, clearly stating the math classes that you took, by name and number, and that the classes you took mirror 100 percent of the topics presented in these syllabi. IMO, just the syllabi won't be enough.

That letter will move mountains.

Which, of course, is what you want.

my wife wasn't a good cook when we first married.

Mrs. T-B. wasn't sure that she could cook, she told me later. Her #2 sister is the gourmet. However, Mrs. T-B. has done quite well, having poisoned me only twice in 5+ years and finally getting it through her pretty head that Cilantro = Divorce, see man.

I keep telling her that I could eat Tuna Glop (bachelor dinner: any macaroni product, tuna, Cream of Mushroom soup, with or without peas) at least 4 times a week (in Polish math, that's "once, twice, many more, and many more"). However, it hasn't registered, no man.
