Man I want some Filipina home cooking.......

sauteed mussels tonight plus some type of soup. dancin5hr.gif Making my wife buy me knew jeans lately as her cooking has me not fitting into my old ones rofl.gif

Get one brother an air compressor, get the other one an air powered impact wrench.....

Then get tiny an impact socket set......

Get Tiny something from Fredericks of Hollywood that doesn't need to survive the night!

'Tiny' keeps telling me he wants an air compressor, but I keep telling him that we do not need one right now. However, I fear that the Christmas money coming from his parents will buy one and it will just sit in our garage!

Actually if we do end up buying a house and need to put down new floors it will be handy, but how much more stuff are we going to have to lug half way across the country, hmmmm?

'Tiny' has also told me that womenfolk should not pick out tools as gifts for men because we always get the wrong ones, so I am refusing to do so for my brothers.

yes.gifyes.gifyes.gif Tiny is a smart man with that advice.

Then bring the right lass home, next time wink.png

He's too into curry, he just needed to get a woman that knew how to cook. My wife's mother wouldn't even let her get married until she learned to cook first. She didn't learn until she was over 30. Finally one day her mother announced she could now get married, as she had learned how to cook well enough. This is not a joke either, it was truly serious business, no matter how funny I found it rofl.gif But I truly thank my mother in law for her diligence in teaching her daughter to cook.

I thought all women could do that kind of stuff?

I've decided to bite the bullet and get my brothers Home Depot gift cards for Christmas. I have no idea what to get them and if I get one of them a manly gift card and the other something more cerebral...I think they will think I think that one of them is less manly.

Men are so complicated.

Right?!

We were in a game store last night and Ali found a Warhammer 40k board game that made his eyes light up (it's $100 but the guy was going to knock 50% off because no one is nerdy enough to buy it....except us....). So I was all excited because I finally figured out a cool xmas gift that he would really love, but on the way home he talked himself out of it with 1mil + excuses.

SIGH.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

Yup - my wife wasn't a good cook when we first married.

however - on my second trip there, her brothers (the better cookers) taught me how to cook all of the food that she liked. Took about a week. They were amazed with my skills in their kitchens, but

mostly it made my wife dig into cooking practice. Almost shamed her into doing it, but not quite shame. Years pass, and she can cook almost as well as the older brother. I've never asked about this, but I assume she's allowed to leave china now ;)

Ok, so I was accepted into this university and they transfer all my esoteric classes I don't care about, but none of the math and science classes despite them clearly being indicated as to what they are? They claim they need syllabi for all 21 of them from when I took them to transfer it, but the syllabi say nothing more than what is in the catalog and are long since gone. I'm not sure what to do, but I'm not taking any of the lower level maths over again - I only have 3 left!!!

*sigh*
