Didn't on-log to VJ, again, on Saturday, no man. Got late start on computer activity (loading dishwarsher) and consumed time in a disappointing search for a cordless (not gas, not electric) leaf-blower, sigh man. Concluded that 18V batteries are too wimpy, weak man, and lithium ion = better than nickel-cadmium, Li man. Concluded firmly that everything is way overpriced, $igh man.

In better news (the Thread Laundress report): The biweekly/semimonthly "heavy" laundry day turned out better than expected, see man -- I could skip one usual load and was able to combine another. Accordingly, the usual 6 loads became 4, gee man. (Asia, in the Polish arithmetical system, "the usual many loads became many, gee man.")

no, forget it....all they talk about is washers and clothes. I wanna talk about tools, cars, power equipment.....

Buncha chicas responding, huh man? See above re my desire for a cordless blow-leafer. Because of a hectic Saturday, I didn't buy tyres, no man. (Asia, in accordance with the Polish arithmetical system, cars have "one, two, many, and many" tyres.) :lol:

Incidentally, the blow-leafer's use would be to clear the walkway, medium-length driveway, sidewalks, and small back patio of lawnmowing detritus. My 8-year-old Black & Decker 18-volt nickel-cadmium-battery blower can't continue power that long, no man; an emphysematic octogenarian on hands & knees would have more wind force, sigh man. Need something that will last 20 minutes at full blast (ideally stronger than 120 mph).

Part of the hectic Saturday was breaking out the trim-hedger and going to work on some out-of-control shrubbery, ache man. After that came mow-lawning, chiefly to mulch up the clippings which I was too lazy... er, efficient to rake up, see man. I didn't think that the lawn itself really needed mowing, but there was quite a difference afterwards, si man. I was distinctly pleased with myself, and blew my nose lustily. Macromolecules of grass and clippings were yielded amidst the snot, whee man. I was coughing all night, hack man.

I mow the lawn perhaps 3 or 4 times total (in Polish, "many") in December & January combined, because it's more lazy... er, efficient to mulch up the dead leaves instead of raking & bagging them, see man. Yesterday, it was still November, so it didn't count, no man. Because we cut down our two diseased maple trees in April, it will be interesting to see, man, whether the leaf population is diminished or the neighbors' trees pollute the lawn just as much.

I might as well suggest he wear a pink jumpsuit as use an electric hedge trimmer. I always thought ours worked just fine before and I can't even start the darn Husqvarna weed whacker/hedge trimmer/ whatever else.

You must now take out the carburetor, clean the ####### out of the jet. And always use a stabilizer such as starbrite brand startron, or sta-BIL......also put these products in all small engines.

You can't start the husqvaana because you let the gas sit in it for too long without fuel stabilizer. The ethanol content turned into gel/ plaque and gummed up the jets in the carburetor......

Nah, I tried it this summer, but I just don't have the gift. Plus, it was heavy.
