It's the Canadian in me. Usually the outside stuff stays up year round but here the sun and heat would kill my lights/clips and well it looks funny when your the only house with it up. I'm still not as bad as the women down the street. On Halloween night she was putting up her Christmas trees, she has 8 the last I heard. Now that is a bit early even for me.

Well, my parents have one kinda big tree in the living room, and other one (really small) in the bedroom.

We usually do 3 or 4 trees with only one real one in the living room, but we are going to start with decorations today.

Happy belated Thanksgiving everybody! Hope it was a nice holiday for you all. luv.gif Hubby enjoyed his first Thanksgiving, and the day after we went and had a "friendsgiving" pot luck with all of our closest friends. It was really nice, and I'm glad he had a positive first experience with the holiday. smile.png

We haven't started with the Xmas decorations yet. We usually do the tree the first Saturday in December, and do decorations around and outside the house the day after. I'm really excited! I looooove Christmas. Can't wait to start watching the holiday cartoons. blush.png

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.
