It is just based on income and that is pretty measly for the moment. We have an IV-D case, so it is pretty strictly enforced. I think I will keep collecting it until he pays in total what a normal person would have paid for those 4 years. I also didn't get it until she was 18 months old or so, so he does owe me some retroactive, but it is such a pain with all the paperwork that it isn't worth it.

I give up on American men. ;)

Well.....I can see problems arising in the future if he doesn't change his outlook......and honestly, if he changes his outlook when he's 50, what can he do then?

I am trying not to think about it...when I did..I did not sleep so I shall take it one day at a time and see how far we get. He is trying in some areas and I appreciate it.

But when we move out and he tells me I am to drive him to work and anywhere he wants, I shall suggest he gets a license or calls mom.

CABA applies to men too. ;) Actually, I do think think there are a lot of good men and women around, but I like to tease.

Well, if a hundred bucks is 17%, then he's doing pretty bad. Interest on child support owed varies by state.

Because he only works 20 hours a week at a research position he makes #######, but $100 is less than he should be paying. I forgot the percentage, but it was calculated based on Colorado charts because that is where the case was filed and he was considered below the poverty line so he had to pay less than the normal percentage. Ridiculous.
