Mini-B. is better, wee man, after being awake from 2 to 4 a.m. early Sunday with coughing. Mrs. T-B. was out of it (coming down with similar, herself). After Mini-B. got some ibuprofen (to which we're gravitating, from acetaminophen) and some allergy medicine, he and we slept till after 10 a.m., zzz man. He had a very long, deep nap today and seems to be much better, crossed fingers man.

Thread-Laundress report: Warshed 5 loads (should've been 4, but didn't do the kitchen rags on Sat. night) without incident, whee man. Broke into large box of Sears laundry detergent; am disappointed that there's no scent at all, other than a faint smell of plastic (could be because the stuff is in plastic within the box), but the stuff appears to be highly concentrated and seems to do the job.

yay, the little one is doing better !!

Laundry: ooh you made me think of Victoria's secret laundry detergent. Love that smell !

nah, we did not. One of the parents would have had to drive us and they were pretty tired from work and did not wake up. Hubby forgot to tell them times anyways. I told him to let it go and we can go to see something around christmas time.

Let me tell you all the awkwardness that goes into living with your parents and it starts with them becoming way too comfortable discussing your sex life. Ewww.

When I was in 7th or 8th grade all of my "team" teachers had a conference with my parents to specifically discuss my "James Dean" complex. Ummm, really?

I think as women get older they want a good guy for the stability, but our natural instincts still pull us to the bad boys for procreation purposes.

Ewwww, on the sex life thing. When I was in the Philippines, my now mother in law encouraged us to disappear into the bedroom, didn't seem to matter that we were not married at the time. She couldn't wait to have a half caucasian baby. She's still going to wait for a little bit yet though.

I know many older women that still keep friend zoning the types of guys they say they want in favor of the bad boys. Then they're all upset to find out he's a jerk or seeing a half dozen other women. These women are past the procreation years, and still haven't learned. Which has actually turned many of these nice guys into the exact jerks they're attracted to, but get burned by. People are just plain nuts sometimes.

We saw the new Thor last night. It was better than the last one, nothing to rave about, but I thought it at least did our religious beliefs slightly more justice.

Ali was leaving for work this morning and set off the alarm. I got a call from ADT ripping me out of my dreams and they were talking about a home invasion. I was like "no, no everything is fine". !5 minutes later, my doorbell rings and someone is banging on the door. Well, I sleep naked...so the cop that showed up must have loved my makeshift robe of ali's football jersey.

I'm kind of tired of my security system. Kinda want to break contract.

I guess they would have if I had remembered my phone password, but it was 7am and they had just woken me up, so I couldn't recall it. The cops were called as soon as the alarm was tripped, so it was about 15 minutes, but yeah...they've been out here before (when I legit thought I was going through a home invasion) and it took them ages. Same with the fire department. Dunno if it's the area or what.
