my husband messaged me a while ago: "i suppose you wouldnt want to go to the movies huh"

My response: " yes, yes I would..these movies are playing and these are the times, we can go tomorrow morning too so you save 4 bucks a ticket"

my husband: "its your bday, we can wait or go today"

So I think we will be going to the movies. Yay smile.png

Right now, going for a walk in the city would be pretty awesome.

Either or sounds nice. :)

I love my husband and he bought me flowers today, but spent way too much on them. It would have been ok to just get a $10 bouquet, yah know.

We are saving up for when he gets laid off for two months after Christmas.... and without knowing if the house sale will fall through again.... or if our thing at Sotheby's is going to sell next month. unsure.png

Is it the movie about that person who was a slave for 12 years?

you know...I am not sure...let me get back to you tomorrow when I have watched it. You might be right but ....it could be 7 years in prison instead. Suspense is killing me.

Update: I got a big stuffed dog ....like 5 feet so "me"sized and dark chocolate hershey kisses 3 packages and bday balloon. I am happy. Oh and we got pizza. yay.

1) Prepping for Xmas shopping next Friday. I usually just do Black Friday online, to avoid all the outrageous crowds, but hubby is hellbent on experiencing this firsthand. God help me. wacko.png

2) Also, have a prospective job lined up! It's for the city government, too, so the benefits are pretty good, and the pay is much more than I was getting at my last job - as in more than double. Fingers crossed for me! kicking.gif

3) How's everybody been? Besides Steve and his boat situation. wink.png

1) Viernes negro is not to be dreaded, no man. In 2011, Mrs. T-B.'s cousins (mom/daughter chicas) were here from Ecu, and they wanted to do viernes negro. I rousted them from bed at 4 a.m., got them to a large outlet-type mall at 6a, dabbled a little on my own while they went loca in almost every store, and got them back to our casa by 9:30a. They spent $545 alone at Papaya, or Tiki Bui (?) -- I think 'twas Papaya. They kept bringing armloads (no exaggeration) of clothes to drop at the checkout counter while the cashier was ringing up the earlier armloads. Have never seen anything like it, no see man.

2) Double $alary... shall we now call you Part VIII?

3) I have been posting entertainingly and lustily. Just skip over everyone else's stuff and read mine, see man.

I finally caved. Today is a shoe day.

Today is Friday. Shoesday comes between Monday & Wednesday, see man.
