My car driver side headlight blew out. Just replaced the passenger side headlight last month.

Should have replace both headlights at the same time.

So I have to go to auto repair shop to fix it before going to work.

Sounds de-lightful, pun man.

I have an obsession especially with zebras

I once called a big-city zoo and asked to be connected to the Zebra Department. I intended to ask whether zebras are white with black stripes or the converse, see man. I was promptly put through, but the phone rang with no answer. I concluded that everyone, including the Z-Departmental receptionist, was out restriping the zebras, si man.

And, again, no one is on here being witty but me, no man. Hmmmph, man.

2) No one is required to buy anything at a GS, no man. Are you afraid that you would go cuckoo buying stuff simply because it was low-priced?

Earlier today, I compiled a moderately short list of GSs for this Saturday, but I suspect that 1) some will be canceled because of the lousy weather forecast; and B) that some will be worthless, considering the quality (or lack thereof) of the ads therefor, sigh man. In regard to 1), I blame (in advance) Canadia and its Arctic fronts, brrrr man.

On the bright side, perhaps I shall find something when I consign stuff at the consignment shop and donate stuff to the resale shop, find and shop man.

No, it is more that I never find anything at a garage sale that I would want. Maybe I'm just weird that way.

I received a Christmas card from my grandfather yesterday. Weird, right? Then and read it and he is travelling, but I am touched that he remembers to send a card each year and always tucks a 20 in it (hard to find in England, he must keep a stash somewhere) despite the fact that the last time I got a card from his son was probably 2002 and before that 1992, but also because he remembers the å in my last name.

so, my friends drop whatever they were doing today. We pack up the truck, fishing poles, electronics, etc.....

we go to the dock, ready to slaughter the Striped Bass.....

Looking forward to heavy fall fishing action and a wondrous meal afterwards........

And this is what we find at the dock...........

My car is Mazda 3 hatchback. The headlight bulbs are Halogen long life 55W, cost about $13.99 each.

We did try to replace the headlights once before.

It was easy to remove the headlights housing, socket, rubber guard and retainer clips.

But when came to put them back together, it took us like 2 hours to get the goddamned retainer clips back on!

Hubby was cursing and swearing the whole time, trying to put the retainer clips back, and careful not to break them.

So this time round, it is worth the money to just take the car to the auto repair shop to replace the headlights, than to hear my hubby complaining and swearing again.

$13.99 for headlight bulb, $12 for labor , out of the shop in 15 minutes.

Psst......if you buy the bulb in autozone, they will put it in for you for free

I'm not a man, I don't know these things. All I know is that with the newer Volvos replacing headlights = PITA and expensive and with my old one it was like 1, 2, 3, done and cheap.

who told you to buy a Volvo, next time you get a Honda like everybody else !!

Mrs. T-B. decided to pamper herself tonight, and said pampering has included painting her toenails. I haven't seen her since said pampering began, but the brain-altering stench of the polish cannot be ignored, no and whee, man. I could smell it all the way downstairs in the kitchen, wheeeee man.

Mini-B. is not Pampered; he's wearing a Luvs pull-up, from what I saw. When same become mature, their stench is also brain-altering, weewee man.

I was going to be all "omg you did not" but then...Yah..you are right...

I have an obsession especially with zebras and owls btw so in case anyone wants to get me something for my bday...you know where to get it....zoo.

I had two great horned owls as pets when I was a kid!
