I keep having visions of you dropping her body into the harbour at 3 in the morning, for some reason.

I don't know why I keep having those visions. Maybe it's cause of the way she's treated you and the marriage this year? Oh well, an anniversary can always be used as a new start, so maybe she'll shift, totally, snap to, and straighten out ...

That's my hope for you, regardless of my recurring visions.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Come to think of it. How is Tarklar going to garage sales? In a wheelchair?

Maybe. He could have gotten a good deal on one at some other garage sale. Perhaps he will just hobble.

Teach her to fish and she'll be able to feed herself her own anniversary dinner, splash man.

November NYC fishing is world famous. The fish are grazing our shore enroute from the grand banks migrating to the chesapeake area. But it's marklan cold........

Now it's also hunting season. But none of you guys know that NY is also great for hunting. The NY-DEC puts a lot of money into our wild life.....we have very healthy populations of deer, black bear, and jive turkeys.....and it's marklan cold....

So this is bad.

Do I?

Hunt?

Fish?

Pay attention to tiff?

Talk to my daughter?

Sorry to read about your broken appendage, but at least you seem to be hooked up with good pain killers. Good luck on your garage sale hunting efforts.

This is 28 words without a punchline. Reported!!!!! Gracias, K-Bonette.

How much is a new thermos at a garage sale? Need.

Dimensions? Features? Accoutrements? English-only outside the regional forums? Definition of "new"? Budget? Payment for several months of hitherto-unpaid Thread-Laundress duty first? Huh man? Spit it out ("oot" if in Canadia, eh man).

Maybe I'll get Tiff a pearl necklace......hehe.....

I read awhile back that if one's name is Pearl or Ruby and one is not black, one is probably approximately 90 years old, si man.

Because of pending arisal (the act or state of arising) at pre-o'dark-thirty for GS activity in a slightly more distant 'burb than is usual, will off-sign now, minister to cat if latter awakens, take mongo killpainer, otherwise prep for bed, and go there, zzz man. It is hoped that said killpainer will cause no oversleeping, si and no man.

JTB that kid is like my sister in laws kid in Malaysia. Dropped off at my in laws by Gump's parents, and refuse to take him back.....

I'm sorry to learn of your dilemma. I'm not offering advice. But I'm avering what I'd do......

1- treat it like a social engagement rather than the big family day that it is.

2- be present, be civil. Kill them with kindness.

3- be gracious and diligent.

4- eat to my hearts content as if no one else is there.

5- right or wrong, I'd stand by my wife.

great advice...I was going to do that when we were going to a family gathering since it would be easy to avoid them but since the mother decided to not go to that and instead invite them here....it is just extremely awkward and sadly, my husband won't support me. He said he would because he agreed with everything I said but when push came to shove he buried his head in a computer game stating there is nothing that his support would accomplish. /shrug

Buddy of mine (gringo married to Ecuatoriana) wrote me the following yestereve, si man:

"I woke up this morning feeling very comfortable despite our home plunging to 63 degrees, thanks to the electric blanket. Surprisingly, even my head felt warm without having to wear a sock hat."

Don't want to use the term "cheap gringo," but let's just say that he's exceptionally thrifty, $i man. You wouldn't believe it, no man.

sound about right...we have 60 in the house. :)

Hobble, hobble, hoil and hubble... Closer to a punchline, so de-reported, whee ma'am.

I apologize. Here are some sort of, kind of, punchline type silly things to make up for it >

As I said before, I never repeat myself.

Take my advice, I don't use it anyway.

Where there's a will, I want to be in it.

How come "abbreviated" is such a long word?

Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected become the expected?

Lower NY harbor to sandy hook. (NJ, not CT)
