Moleskin.

Otherwise any walk over a mile (and I walk practically every day) results in blisters and bleeding.

yah, I like to do the 4-8 mile walks. The boots aren't exactly meant for that. It was my terrible judgement on my part

and maybe deep down inside I was lazy and wanted to cut the walk short ...who knows.

Coooffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee /breathe. I feel better.

so, I decided to go for a walk and wear my new boots. That was painful and bloody. Never doing that again.

Oh, do it again, but do it right this time.

1. bloody bits on yer feet and ankles - cover with moleskin (cut to fit over the bloodied area) and tape in place

2. DOUBLE SOCKS, thick ones.

3. Optional - soak the boots in water for 2 hours before wearing, then wear wet and walk in em for 2 hours.

Mmmm Beef stew for dinner

is that dinner lunch or dinner supper ? wink.png

Hasenpfeffer !

He did actually suggest I make hare and I do have a couple of different recipes for it, but I just can't.

My Swedish cookbook also has recipes for reindeer meat. Can you imagine serving that to some kid in America? Nightmares.

Asia, you could try and ASUS or ACER laptop as well. The important part of electronics is that you get what you pay for. Laptops are very hard (almost impossible) to upgrade vs a desktop and they cost more for what you get. If you're looking for a little bit of portability try a tablet instead and use a desktop at home.

my krewe of Chinese Aunties checked in this morning, telling me i need to come up to Dallas for the weekend, they scored on 25 pounds of rabbit and are making rabbit jiaozi. I know they want me there to use my steaming gear, but I'm headed up to DFW to jump the plane anyway. hmmmmm OK - plans are made.
