Mrs. T-B. had an HP laptop that caused nothing but trouble. One of the repairmen said that HP is pretty much the bottom of the barrel. I found Mrs. T-B. a Toshiba laptop, which has performed perfectly. We could not have made a better purchase, oj nie.

Toshiba also makes some lowest of the low laptops now. There was a time they wouldn't stoop to making a low end laptop, but they wanted more of the market. HP makes same darn good ones, and some real piece of ####### laptops. Over the long term, Toshiba has pretty much always been at or near the top of the best laptops. IBM at one time made very good ones to, but that time is long gone now. Over all, there's a few brands I'd never have today, but there is no longer a brand that shines, they're all making at least some garbage models that tarnishes their image.

When Mrs. T-B. was incubating Mini-Bone in the (shudder) infamous first trimester, we were lying in bed one night at 11:40p. She turned to me and snarled, "I want mangoes! Very hard, and very green! Go!" I had to beat butt to the supermarket before it closed at midnight. Fortunately for my health and lifespan, the mangoes there were very hard and very green.

For those females that have eaten green mangoes, green mangoes become a must when they're pregnant. I'm surprised you were not prepared for this, and had to make an emergency run. At least she didn't need bagoong to go with the green mangoes. Your regular grocer carries green mangoes?

Apple Laptop - get the extended Apple Care plan.

Mine finally died after many years of being dropped out of my truck, dropped off my bed, having liquids spilled into it. Great screen and good design. I'm in the market for another (my third). I also like the seamlessness of sharing across the macbook, ipad, ipod, and iphone.

I got a Sony laptop that I bought last year so I'd have a backup as the other one was getting old and the screen is ####### and it hurts my eyes to look for extended periods. Can't even read a book or too much on it. Awful, but cheap enough and powerful enough to run games.

My husband keeps hating on my macbook, trying to force me to use a desktop would build me...but I am too used to macs now. We had HP's at work.
