Hubby has bern working nonstop lately and was offered a promotion and transfer to a different restaurant. Good news and bad news all at once. Dunno what to do about it yet.

Also, got sick of being chubby and joined a gym. Very sore today.

I hope you get the job situation worked out soon.

I wish I could join a gym. The Dane has our only car during the day, but I guess walking will have to suit me fine.

Little One's birthday party today was nice! Pretty much her entire class showed up. heart.gif Such a change from being in Denmark for her.

Official Thread-Laundress Report: Didn't leave house today, no man. Warshed 5 laundry loads (should have been 4, but didn't do the kitchen rags as usual on Saturday night, si and no man). 'Twas all easier than usual, but am out-wiped nevertheless.

Mini-B. visited Mama T-B. this morn and did OK, but refused to go to a compatriot's birthday party this afternoon, almost surely because he'd been artificially awakened from his nap. I knew it, foresee man.

Tbone - Careful with the tag/estate sales or your house will end up like my dad's. We've probably cleared out two and a half tractor trailers worth of stuff and there is still more.

I'm both highly selective and a very cheap gringo. I'm also fond of donating things to the consignment shop or to charity, see ma'am.

As we speak, Tarklar is bargaining down a 2 dollar pair of skivvies and a half roll of toilet paper smile.png

As you spaketh'd, Tarklar-Bone was wrangling laundry for which payment is still overdue, Mr. Business Typhoon man.

The mommies in Mrs. T-B.'s "mommy group" rotate their hosting of the weekly caucuses. At the first one hosted by Mrs. T-B., there were 6 googies total (including Mini-B.). The highlights included the following: Mini-B.'s best friend, who wasn't talking yet, got eaten alive by hormigas del fuego (fire ants) in the back yard; the 8-month-old crawled into the kitchen and spilled all 3 of the cat's bowls; Mrs. T-B. opened a jar of baby food and it splattered all over her, the floor, the kitchen appliances, and the ceiling. In less notable happenings, the place in general looked like a tornado or a business typhoon had hit it, gee man. I got home in time to witness the last parts of the disaster.

I figgered that the deputies either used a cannon or blunderbuss to shoot the knife at the guy, or they figgered out a way to make bullets roll off a flat blade at high velocities, gee man.
