Hi Darlene,

As for the POE .. they will asked for his passport, I-94 (whitecard) & the sealed envelope that USembassy Morocco gave to him with the visa. He will present it at the Immigration counter and he will be interview and his digital picture and fingerprint will be taken there too.

Darlene

Only possible solution to this problem is to take it back to the consulate and ask them to re-seal it.

YMMV

Darlene,

if you're saying he mistakingly opened the sealed envelope ... then he needs to send it back to the USEmbassy Morocco to re-sealed the enveloped again before he fly to US. Because if it's not re-sealed ( they will re-sealed it by putting it in a new USEmbassy envelope, not a special tape) he will be in a big trouble for his POE Immigration.

He will be having enough time till friday to do this. He will just need to go to Consulate and inform the problem that he teared it up and mistakingly opened and they will process it and he will get it back on that day, he gonna wait for it there of course. ( In Phils, the sealed envelope was cornered cutted envelope, so please try to asked your fiance if he teared it open or he just see something a little proper cut opening).

goodluck!

the envelope is not torn or damaged in anyway he said it resealed fine. I will tell him what you told me thanks for all the help. He will have time to stop at consult and ask them about it.

Don't risk it. The officers at POE are not stupid. You can tell when something has been opened, even if it has been resealed fine. The envelope flap will look slightly odd.

Can you risk him turning up at his POE and being denied entry? It is MUCH safer for him to get it resealed.

Why the hell he'd open something that has DO NOT OPEN on it in big letters I'll never know...

If the edges has opened just a little is fine, if he actually opened it doesn't matter that he put it back, they'll know it was opened.

He was not told he could not open it. It does not say do not open it on envelope. He is going to consulate tomorrow hope not take to long to get that done.

thanks
