Hi

I am almost at the last stage of the fiancee visa. My case was sent to the embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I know her about year now and I only visited her one time and I plan to visit her again when she has an interview. Another concern that I have is because I don't have good evidence to prove my relationship with my fiancee beside my phone call record which I have been using phone card to make to her.

Do you think will this be enough for evidence of reationship?

passport stamps, travel itineraries, etc.??

:guides: accessible at the top of the forum page. In particular, the K-1 guide has great examples of the types of necessary evidence. A balanced mix of as many of the different types of evidence is best.

Good luck.

If you made a visit the LEAST you can extract from that is your Ticket (even if you lost it, goto airlines website and put in your name and it should show your booking and then print a e-ticket, if still can't find it then contact the airline) and possible a hotel booking (if you stayed at any) and the ring ofcourse! provide all three proof and you should make some case seeing you also have phone bills.

You still have at least 2 more months before interview to come up with more evidences of continuing relationship.

Start now by writing emails to each other daily or weekly what ever you can. Broken English is OK from Cambodia as long as one can tell the meaning.

Start using Rebtel or other phone service that can give you record of call made to Cambodia. A person in Cambodia can go to internet cafe to call you and ask for a receipt each time or if you have ATT or Tmobil you can print your bill showing incoming call from Cambodia.

You must do it now so that at least you have 2 months of evidences.

Phone cards can not tell anybody anything because one can just pick them up from sidewalk.

Hope this will help.

Look on the website of the phone card issuer to see if you can get a log of the calls you made. Failing that, go to the website of your phone service provider and getr a log of your calls. That at least shows how otten you dialed the access number for the phone card to show that the card was real and you really bought it.

How about your visa to go to Cambodia? Photocopy that. It shows that you actually went there.

Hi savath

Will this count I used phone card call her through Tmobile service. On Tmobile record show the number of phone card but not her number. Will they take as evidence of relationship or no?

I have TMobile and there is a log of all calls. You can go to your account online and access it and print them out. You can also go in to your local TMobile and ask them to do it for you, possibly. I just did it myself. I think it was a great help for us. Our problem is, even though we met 3 times and I have photos, I wear a headcover and dress plainly so all my pics look the same! LOL And Jamaica doesn't have real seasons, per se, so even the surroundings were the same. Thankfully I will just copy my passport pages with the entrance stamps. :)

Skype credit works as good as a calling card, and you can print call records from it. Take Skype video chat screen shots, if you have 2mo start writing letters to one another maybe? Emails, photos, if you can get affidavits of relationship from her or your family it may helps as well. I have also only met my fiance once in person, doesn't seem to be a problem as long as you can show ongoing relationship proof.
