April 22, 2013 - Receive the NOA1

July 29, 2013 - Approved NOA2 ( 82 working days)

July 30, 2013 - USCIS shipped my documents to NVC

Aug 5, 2013 - Arrived at NVC Building

Aug 13, 2013 - Got the NVC case # via PHONE

Aug 14, 2013 - Got the Invoice # via PHONE

Aug 15, 2013 - Send my DS-3032 via Email

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay

Aug 17, 2013 - Got an email to print the COVER SHEET

Thanks! I called on Thursday and spoke to a tier 2 rep. He said he'll send them a message so to wait 5 biz days for a reply from them. I'm also gonna call my congressman like you suggested. ?

Spoke to the office of the congressman but they said USCIS is so backed up processing I-130 for parents that it's taking about a year. I could sign a privacy release do they coukd check on my cases but I'm just bummed right now. :-(

IR5 DAD's Journey Total of 1 year from mailing out form I-130

(Jan 2013) to Visa in hand(Jan 2014).

02/02/2014: Paid $165 at ELIS site

03/06/2014: PORT-OF-Entry=Vancouver Canada

03/31/2014: USCIS Status Address Change

04/03/2014: Applied for SS

​04/03/2014: ELIS STATUS showed OPTIMIZED right away the day we applied for SS card.

04/07/2014: Green Card Production

04/09/2014: SS Card received.

4/10/2014: ELIS and USCIS status: GREEN CARD PRODUCED/SHIPPED

4/15/2014: GC arrived in the mail (yay!)

I filed on 2/22/2013 for my father and 6 yr old sister

Received NOA1 on 2/28/2013

didn't hear anything about it until last week 10/22 - Both Cases were transferred to NSC. Hoping this will speed up the process.

congratulation , i just got my case number today and my iin too still didnt pay yet they told me Monday , but after i pay can i submit all documents i havve , im so afraid they may expired soon like the police record said valid till 11/14/2013 so after 10 days from now do you think i still can use it or do i have to ask my husband to send me another one ? help me plz if you know any thing , thanks

Hello all,

I filed on 2/22/2013 for my father and 6 yr old sister

Received NOA1 on 2/28/2013

Your 6 years old sister is not derivative of your father's correct me if im wrong?

which means if you petition your father and your sister, then you sister will have a longer wait.
