Hello Everyone...

Once NVC has completed your case do they schedule your interview

Or is it sent to the embassy for scheduling? What are the waiting times for the

Dominican Republic?

9/01/15 AOS Interview Houston-APPROVED!

9/01/15 Card in production, Welcome notice has been mailed

9/05/15 Welcome Notice Received

9/08/15 Greencard was mailed

9/10/15 GREENCARD RECEIVED!!!!!!!!

7/1/17 I-751 returned rejected (multiple items)

The NVC schedules the interview based on available dates the Embassy tells them they have available.

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China

April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

What?? 11 months. No way sorry. You are way off there. DR lately has been a 2 to 4 month wait.

We just got our interview date because we called the Embassy. We still haven't received a hard copy in the mail yet. We thought we would have had an interview date for late October or early November. To our surprise our date is December 23. I wanted to be here in the U.S. for Christmas this year...but God had another plan. This will be the best Christmas ever I just know it :-)

This is the best jOURney of OUR lives, together forever! Singing..... INTERNATIONAL LOVE :-)

where is your embassy/consulate? i am case complete also according to nvc but still no interview date

That is AWESOME!!! Felicidades! Mine is November 20th...God knows what he is doing because I have a son that I would not of been able to buy a ticket for to go down for Christmas...so, He is making a way to get him here BY Christmas! What an AWESOME Christmas for both of us!!! :)

I was in SHOCK the way mine worked out. I had a checklist that NVC received September 13th. Then I was told to wait 30 business days for a case complete. I thought for sure we wouldn't end up getting an interview until next year at this point, BUT, to my surprise, I got an email on October 2nd telling my case was on it's way to the embassy WITH an Interview Date of November 20th!! I read it while I was in the car, I thought, "Oh Great, here goes another Checklist!!" LOL I screamed, then I cried, then I called NVC to make sure it wasn't a joke or a mistake!! I filed before I joined visa journey. I would have sent more than just marriage cert. please help me. I am gathering my documentation now.

I sent whatever was required, nothing more. I will bring more evidence to the Interview.

Hello All...

I just submitted the DS 260 yesterday... They have already received the civil documents yesterday..

The confirmation said it will be reviewed between 3 to 5 business days...Any truth to that? I'm so happy

For u guys that will have ur honey here for the holidays.. I'm praying for the same thing it's been such

A long road but well worth the wait!!
