Newark don't fast. Nbc sent my i485 the same say they receive it to newark so that cut out the delay. The hold up takes place at nbc especially if the biometrics is old. You'll soon hear good news. I got my card last Tuesday. Nyc is a lil slow but you'll be fine.

VAWA please stop asking the same thing over and over and ignoring the answers you have been given. You are not now nor have you ever been a legal resident of the US. Your VAWA petition was approved, this does not mean you will get a green card. You must interview for the green card. You must wait your turn. You can take your EAD to the local social security office and get a social security card. You can obtain employment with the EAD, why else would they have given it to you? Do you think they process EADs just for the fun of it? It is so you can get a job.

Please stop asking the same questions, it is getting annoying. Wait until you have your interview and maybe you will get a greencard.

Nangue my comment was not towards you. Vawavictim has been spamming the board for the past several days. Asking the same question in multiple threads, ignoring the answers already given, and asking the same questions again. Some people get email alerts on their phone when a new post is made and it is very annoying when you get four or five alerts for messages on threads to find out everyone of them is the same question posted by the same user. I believe the first day the exact same question was asked in like 10 different threads. Now he is asking the same question again in multiple threads.

Several posts raising separate VAWA concerns have been split off and made into their own threads so they receive the appropriate responses and don't get lost in the shuffle. This thread appears to have run its course so I am closing it to further discussion rather than continue to let it get derailed.

If you posted in this thread and cannot find your posts, go to your profile and click under content: topics started and you will find where your new thread can be found.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
