I came here as a legally as a student about 3 yrs ago but i am currently out of status. I married my husband 6 months ago. He is a citizen and wants to file for me in order for me to get back into status. I am not familiar with this process so I need assistance from you as to how we should go on about the filing process without taking a lawyer. Which forms to file, what and what should be sent together and so on. Your help and responses will be highly appreciated, thank you

Mail it together. I'm halfway through the process of adjustment of status now, pretty much....we hired a lawyer because my US Citizen wife doesn't want to have any potential errors or problems happen if we do it ourselves.... but yes, you should mail the forms together

All together, to the same place. Please read the guides and instructions. If you don't have the patience to sort through it, then hire a lawyer. Good luck.
