AOS fees

Hi there,

I am from the UK and recently married a U.S. citizen on a K1 visa and now need to adjust status. I am in the process of filling out all the forms. I have had a look on the USCIS website at the fees, but I am a little confused and would therefore appreciate it if you someone could kindly tell me how much money I need to send with my AOS package?

I do not require another medical examination so my package will just include the:

• I-485
• Copy of the non US Citizen Spouses Passport (biographical page as well as entry stamps)
• Copy of the non US Citizen Spouses K-1 from Passport
• Copy of NOA2 “Approval” for I-129F
• Copy of the non US Citizen Spouses valid I-94 (front and back copies)
• Copy of the intending immigrants birth certificate
• Certified Marriage Certificate
• G-325A and G-325A Attachment’s
• Two passport style photos
• DS-3025
• I-864 from spouse and joint sponsor
• I-765

You should also send the I-131 if you wish to travel... but that's up to you.... Your final amount is $1070.

As mentioned by the USICS site and the VJ Guides, you should also consider filing Form I-131 (Advanced Parole) in addition to the I-765 (Employment Authorization Document). The AOS process can be quite lengthy, and the fees for applying for the EAD/AP combo card is included in the $1070. If you need to travel home for some reason, it is easier is you already have the combo card. If you do, you should likely include a total of six (6) passport-style photos with your applications.

Thank you for your responses. Ok, I will just send a money order totalling $1070 with my package then and also fill in the I-131 since that does not cost extra.
