<p> This is what has caused so much confusion. Please read bullet number 3. Some of us got a letter stating to fill out the old forms. It's created so much confusion amongst us all. Visa applicants must submit a completed DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application for all nonimmigrant visa categories, including applicants applying for K visas.NOTE: For K visa cases in process at a U.S. embassy or consulate, the DS-160 is not required when, prior to October 7th, 2013, one of the following situations exist:

  • The K visa applicant is already scheduled for an interview.
  • The K visa applicant has already been interviewed and has been requested to submit additional documentation or is pending administrative processing.
  • Petitioners have already submitted a valid, signed, unexpired DS-156, DS-156K and/or DS-230 or received instructions to do so.

London is not good at updating their letters or website. Heck, their immunization list has been out of date since 2009. They posted just Sept 1 to use the DS-260 instead of the DS-230, but it took them 9-10 days to actually put a link to the DS-260. It was almost the end of Sept before they added some directions for that. The directions didn't work. Now they have already scrapped that for the DS-160. I've been following London, the website, and changes since 2008. I still stand by what I said. If you haven't already mailed the three DS-15x forms plus the online DS-260, then just go with the new method. They are trying to accomplish a switchover but aren't going to fail you over one version or the other. London is a super easy embassy. But they have gone off the rails this summer doing changes to the payment system, courier, and forms twice now.

Do you know where I can find an up to date immunization list? I am going to get them done at the DRs before I attend the medical. I haven't had any since I was about 17 so I am sure I'll need to be updated as I'm 27 now.
