I am starting to think they send apps to offices which specialize in certain areas of the world. i.e. my wife is from Colombia and so we got sent to California because maybe they have a lot of USCIS employees who are qualified with spanish speaking people and/or South America.

When I first read your post I thought it was actually a good assumption, since I was also transferred to CSC and I'm from Venezuela. I checked other October filers on the spreadsheet and I noticed that cruzenmac was also transferred to CSC and he/she is from Panama. However, colombo123 is also from Colombia and was transferred to Nebraska.... So who knows? Do you think it would be a good idea to add a "country" field to the spreadsheet in order to spot location trends? Other CSC transfers I looked up were from Morocco and Bosnia….

I-751 August 2016 filer. 10-year Green card received on Aug 2017.

N-400 (Naturalization) July 2017 filer. Oath Ceremony: November 2nd 2017.

NATURALIZATION (N-400):

Sent application to Lewisville, TX on 07/03/2017. Case received and check cashed on 07/11/2017. Biometrics: 08/03/2017. In Line for Interview: 09/05/2017. Interview scheduled: 09/18/17 (notice received 09/21/17). Interview date: 10/23/2017. Oath date: 11/02/2017. Passport received: 11/20/2017.

 

REMOVING OF CONDITIONS (I-751):

Vermont Service Center received package on Aug 18th 2016.

NOA 1 date: Aug 19th 2016 (received letter on Aug 24)

Biometrics date: Sept 23rd 2016

Approval Notice: Jul 24th 2017

Green Card Received: Aug 4th 2017

 

CR1 Visa / Green Card application (conditional residency):

USCIS:

-October 15, 2013- Sent I-130 (Priority Date: Oct 17 2013).

-October 25, 2013- NOA1 hard copy received (notice date: Oct 19, 2013). Processing at NBC.

-March 14, 2014- Transfer notice hard copy received (CSC).

-March 27, 2014- NOA2 hard copy received.

NVC:

-March 31, 2014- NVC received

-April 29, 2014- Case# and IIN assigned

-May 03, 2014- DS-261 submitted online.

-May 07, 2014- AOS bill invoiced and paid.

-May 12, 2014- Sent AOS package by DHL 

-May 12, 2014- IV bill invoiced and paid

-May 13, 2014- Sent IV package by DHL 

-May 14, 2014- DS-260 available and submitted.

-June 17, 2014- AOS documents accepted

-June 18, 2014- CASE COMPLETED! (No checklists!) 

-June 25, 2014- Interview scheduled!

-July 07, 2014- Medical appointment

-August 21, 2014- INTERVIEW -> Approved!

There are only 2 approvals (out of 30) from NSC from the Sept group so far. ARN means nothing. It's not NOA2. It only happens to people who got transferred to NSC. It could be a Nebraska specific system error. Their office seems to be messed up. headbonk.gif

Although NSC seems to be speeding up a little bit, it's still the slowest service center since they're still processing some applications of May filers. I really hope they get their act together sooner. helpsmilie.gif

ARN's are a good thing believe it or not. It means that they assigned an A number. From what I understand, it means than the case is been adjudicated -- Someone finally is responsable to process it. It implies that you may be getting an approval or RFE soon. We should add a column to the spreadsheet with ARN dates. It would be interesting to track the time between the issuing of the ARN and approval for the Nebraska folks.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

 

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

 

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

I wonder why Nebraska is so slow. Maybe it's already been addressed elsewhere. Perhaps it's the sheer workload, inexperienced staff, less staff than other centres, lower quotas, or even just lower morale or something. God knows. All I know is that if I performed this badly at work, I'd be signing on for JSA.

Well, we don't know why Nebraska is so slow. All we know is that's how USCIS functions. LOL! mad.gif

Dealing with USCIS is kind of like doing business with a company that takes your money (application fee) first and starts providing a service 5 months later. Only a government agency can get away from doing that! headbonk.gif

I hope we will get approved soon it is enough waiting for USCIS already it is time for NVC processing and collections necessary papers! :) I wish we will see something news soon, i am personally In Nebraska and they are in July (50 % approvals) as i saw in August Uscis gave to Nebraska super little cases or not even and they will skip on August.

We should get the "new" data from USCIS this week, yes. However, it will be current as of end of January, not Feb. They always update to 90 days ago... it gives them more leeway for what constitutes "outside of regular processing time."

In other news, I'm hoping that the reason we have not yet received our 3rd transfer email (got the second on Thursday) is that they're sending our file further away than Nebraska (physically closest to Missouri) - like maybe all the way to California! I don't want to jinx it, of course, but it seems like if our file was going to NSC, it would be there by now.
