That's too bad. I wonder why. wacko.png Did you apply for I-129F? Did you request to get your case expedited? If not, you may receive the transfer email next week. Fingers crossed. kicking.gif

They transferred my I-130 and I-129 (which was filed about a month later) together. The latter will most likely be cancelled...but it shouldn't make a difference with the transfer I don't think.

Hello everybody! We finally received the letter and our case was transferred to California (YAY!)

Can somebody please update this on the Spreadsheet? :)

Now I'm starting to get all the documents for the NVC stage, I'm going to get my birth and marriage certificate apostilled (this process takes almost a month in my country).

Hope that those 2 people left get transferred next week and that all our petitions get approved soon!!

I-751 August 2016 filer. 10-year Green card received on Aug 2017.

N-400 (Naturalization) July 2017 filer. Oath Ceremony: November 2nd 2017.

Hopefully the fewer transfers in Aug and July to Nebraska helps.

That's true, but many Sept and Oct applications got transferred to Nebraska. NSC is still working on some May applications. headbonk.gif Why would anyone transfer lots of applications to the slowest office? What's going on here, USCIS? protest6wz.gif

In the September spreadsheet it shows an ARN date for people. Is this essential like an NOA2? Because I've been hearing of people getting approved in September out of Nebraska but I see no NOA2s just ARNs. So where are these supposed approvals from Nebraska in September?

There are only 2 approvals (out of 30) from NSC from the Sept group so far. ARN means nothing. It's not NOA2. It only happens to people who got transferred to NSC. It could be a Nebraska specific system error. Their office seems to be messed up. headbonk.gif

Although NSC seems to be speeding up a little bit, it's still the slowest service center since they're still processing some applications of May filers. I really hope they get their act together sooner. helpsmilie.gif

I am starting to think they send apps to offices which specialize in certain areas of the world. i.e. my wife is from Colombia and so we got sent to California because maybe they have a lot of USCIS employees who are qualified with spanish speaking people and/or South America.

New Member Here. Filed I 130 Oct. 15, 2013. Transferred to California March 13, 2014. In the meantime, what should I be doing to prepare for NVC? I am working on printing proof of all of our visits to eachother. My husband had a Tourist Visa. However, when he tried to enter the country September 25, 2013, CBP stopped him believing he had intentions to file immigration papers. He had the option to voluntarily leave or be deported. Of course, he voluntarily left. I visit him about every 10 weeks....not easy $$$ as most of you understand. I appreciate all the comments and postings I have read.
