New on this board! I've been lurking but finally got some news! We were transferred last night on March 11th. Yeah!!! We were going to look into trying to expedite but deciding to wait now. We have an attorney. We are living in the UK together, however both of us were previously married. I have 3 children in America with my exhusband and my husband has two sons with his exwife and my mom is very ill with rapidly progressing Alzheimers disease. We desperately want to get back to see our kids and we can't afford to fly back and forth and my husband can't enter while his visa is processing. He had a Permanent Resident Visa but went through a divorce and lost it in 2012 because he went back to his home country. His mum was ill and died of cancer. His divorce was not completed so he went ahead a applied for a Returning Resident Visa but was denied because he stayed out of USA for more than 365 days. They told him to reapply for the I130 but since his divorce wasnt final we had to wait to get married. (He was separated for 3 years).

So worried the approval. His exwife and I are both from Indiana though about 4 hours away from each other. I know that they do conditional spouse visa since we have only been married 6 months. I'm sure that there are people who apply who have been divorced.

Praying we get an approval soon.

Hello Everyone I'm New to this Forum.. Congratulations to everyone who got transferred I Applied for My husbands I-130 Oct 18

Received email yesterday

On March 11, 2014, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed.

Hi everyone biggrin.png. I am new here but this thread has brought me some renewed hope.

My husband filed in October and we received NOA1 on November 18 that our petition has been received by TSC and is in process. PD is November 15.

I guess our application went directly to TSC so no transfer will be required. (right??)

Congrats to all those whose petitions have been transfered. I hope you get approvals soon (then I know it wont be long till its our turn).

This long wait is killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're technically a November 2013 filer then my dear :D unless your priority date is in October and they took their sweet time printing and sending you the notice!

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

USCIS is mailing you a letter stating which service center (California, Texas, Vermont, or Nebraska) your application has been transferred to. I think you'll receive it in 3-5 days.

If you're the petitioner, you can call USCIS at 1-800-375-5283 and speak to a tier 2 agent to find out your service center. Good luck!

Hey everyone, all this transferring and talks of a shorter wait time has me absolutely frazzled. I have spent the greater part of my day reading about the NVC stage I keep saying to myself what is this or what is that. OMG how can I make it and do it all by myself. I see where we send originals to the NVC, great I'm thinking I left all the originals such as the marriage license and his birth certificate in Africa. I had already made one of the biggest mistakes not bringing the original marriage license with me so I could change my name legally. I feel like I'm about to enter one big mess. Sorry to unload I was feeling overwhelmed and needed to vent some where.

You don't really have to change your name. Besides, why can't you ask your souse to courier those documents to you?
