Is there a rhyme or reason who goes to which service centers? Is it determined by State that you live in? If so, what states go to which service centers? Any link for that? Thanks...

Nope.. has got nothing to do with which state you are in but where the workload is less for USCIS. Which is a totally contradicting statement since they are still sending files to NSC!

Hi everyone,

Just joined the community! I've been following pretty closely to September filers and October. It's good to see that people have been transferred already and approved in some cases! I'm the US citizen filing for my Australian husband. Our priority date is Oct 4, 2013 and we were sent to NBC, so, hopefully we should be seeing a transfer sometime soon! Also, filed for a K-3 that was recieved on Feb 4, 2014. Fingers crossed!

Hello guys!

I am congratulating all new transfers. I am happy see much transfers from Friday and today after several hours USCIS offices will open and we will have much 8 March transfers as well.

It is good news that September filers till 5 are approved and getting closer to October.

I changed mailing address from international to USA (My wife's American address ) bc of delay / Undelivered mail with unknown reasons, so several days ago i received hard copy of NOA1 and i found out that my priority date is at 21 October.

As all of us know after October 21 of 2013 all filers are transferred straightly in service centers, for my case i got routed in NSC and PD is 21 October. To say honestly i think you are lucky filers before 21 bc you are getting transfers and it is kinds of indicator how fast case will be approved.

So i am wondering what kinds of politic USCIS will have for people like me who got transferred initially, like will we be in line for getting NOA2 after 1 - 20 filers or bc we already passed transfer way we will be privileged?

been waiting all week....FINALLY we got transferred on March 7th!!!!..our PD is October 15th..

Can anyone tell us how we can find which local office we got transferred to?

Let's hope for the I-130s to be approved quickly because I honestly don't think they are processing K3s attached to I-130s. Even though I had heard they were obsolete, thought I'd give it a shot and I filed a K3 (received on November 1, 2013). The K3 case JUST showed up online when my I-130 was transferred on 3/7/14. That was the first time there was an online status for it. Even thought it's nearing the 5 month supposed USCIS time frame of approval for the K3, my guess is we should only count on the I-130s at this point. From what I can tell from the online activity it looks like they matched the K3 and the I-130 up and transferred them both (waiting to find out where from the hard copy).

Well, I just called USCIS Tier II, it kind of started out a little down and very monotone/matter of fact. The guy was not in a good mood, evidently many people call up and verbally abuse the reps. They must catch hell all day. Having experience with DHS, the Federal Government etc...I can commensurate and am sympathetic for them. He said somebody called him worthless and overpaid, which I know both of those statements are not true. But I have a knack for making people laugh and by understanding their position and the difficulties they encounter. This is what he said basically:

1. In 7 to 10 business days I should be getting an official NOA informing me my case was transferred, and where it was transferred to.

2. That their goal is to process the case in two months once it is received. That this is a fairly accurate timeline.

3. THAT I WAS SENT TO CALIFORNIA! (Look at my post from yesterday. California is a beast in getting the I130's knocked out!)

My two cents...I do want to remind everyone that they are the front line, in a sense, in regards to who can enter the country legally. That their primary job is protecting our National Security (he said this on the call). I am sure that these people are not making six figure salaries, they don't have the greatest work environment, they don't have killer benefits, they don't have stock options and they get yelled at all day long by people on the phone.

So if you call up? Be pleasant and courteous. Crack a joke or two and sympathize with their situation. I am sure they need it, he told me he was having a terrible morning and that he was happy that we spoke. He said my call made his morning. At the end i could hear his smile, he was laughing and his attitude completely changed by the end of the call. He actually thanked me for calling. I told him, "if you have a bad day, call me back for support" He said "I might just do that, I got your number right here" (*wink*). You never where a little kindness might get you! You get more bees with honey than with vinegar!

GO CALIFORNIA!

To the Google Data Sheet moderators...first of all thanks for keeping the sheets updated. Second, look at the August sheet. They have a great format and provide more data than the other sheets (i.e. average time of approvals, etc.). Maybe we can use that format for the "October people" as well as to provide great insight for people that filed behind us (ie. Nov2013, Dec2013, etc.). Just an idea. PPS - update my transfer destination to CSC please. Thanks again!

CONGRATS to you for being a kind person it goes a long way and will bring us great Karma. You made that employee feel human and not a machine. How can someone call a federal employee and act so harshly?!! Unbelievable and at the end of the day I believe they can add a a note to your petition that that you may not be a good addition to the American population.
