YES!!! Got the transfer email this morning! Just came into work and went on my email- there it was. So my PD is 10/1 and now the transfer date is 3/7.

Did anyone else from the 1st week of Oct get an email as well today?

Congrats! It's so exciting!

My PD is 10/4 (in the first week of Oct), but I haven't received any transfer email yet. I just checked my case status online, but it hasn't changed anything yet.

As far as I know, USCIS doesn't "traditionally" transfer cases on Thursdays and Fridays so I have a feeling it'll be next Monday and Tuesday for the majority of Oct applicants.

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the National Service Center and the National Benefits Center? I thought they were the same. Also, where is each one located?

NBC - National Benefits Center is in Kansas. October applications (up to Oct 21) are currently there. Your case is currently there because your PD is 10/18.

NSC - Nebraska Service Center is in Nebraska (I think). It's one of the service centers processing applications as well as Vermont, Texas, and California Service Centers.

National Service Center?. Maybe you meant Nebraska Service Center? It is confusing indeed.

I have a feeling you will be very soon since you are so close in date to me!

At least we know things are moving. I was surprised to get their email today as well. I was looking for it last night as I got the NOA 1 for the 1-130 and K3 (which is obviously not going to get processed) at night previously and since I didn't I have figured it would be next week. But this was in the morning (think it was sometime before 8am when I was commuting), so was not expecting it.

No :( lol. Still waiting.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

USCIS usually sends out transfer emails around 7pm (EST) as far as I know so it was a nice surprise that you received a transfer email in the morning.

Now you can enjoy the weekend. :-)

Thanks! Yes, I think I was thinking of NSC (Nebraska) but assumed that the N stood for ¨national.¨

been waiting all week....FINALLY we got transferred on March 7th!!!!dancin5hr.gif..our PD is October 15th..

Can anyone tell us how we can find which local office we got transferred to?

Hope all of us get our NOA2 fast..Thank you so much and GOD Bless us all!!

Congrats! Another Oct transfer!

USCIS is mailing you the letter informing you which service center your case has been transferred to. It'll show one of the service centers: California, Texas, Vermont, or Nebraska.
If you are the petitioner (USC or Green Card holder), you can also call 1-800-375-5283 and ask to speak to a Tier 2 agent to find out your service center. It may take 24 hours for the system to show your service center.

Hi, Im from Japan n my NOA1 date is Oct7!

Have read all the comments here n glad to know there are some people who got transferred!

Congratulations:)

I have checked my status everyday this week but haven't got anything yet.

My husband is already in LA n I hope ourcase will be transferred to California center.

I hope all the Oct members will get transferred in March!

I've been to the US twice while applying I-130 already. Will visit again next month. I do hope to get NOA2 soon so that we dont have to spend extra money for the air tickets anymore. I do hate this immigration visa process.
