Congrats! Great news! We now have five October applicants (PD: 10/11, 10/11, 10/11, 10/15, and 10/17) transferred and one person (PD: 10/8) with NOA2!

It looks like USCIS has decided to skip the applicants from Oct 1 to Oct 7 (Why? Beats me.) and is transferring the Oct applicants who applied in the second and third weeks first. I still think more people will receive transfer emails next Monday and Tuesday. USCIS may finish transferring all the Oct applicants (up to Oct 21) next week. Fingers crossed for good news!

I was thinking that is odd too about the skipping. The only thing I can think of is that MAYBE (and of course this is just a total theory) they have an October "pile" and they are pulling from the top (which would be the cases later in October that would have been put on top last) and the people in the first week would be at the bottom.

USCIS skipped Sept 10-18 and transferred the Sept 20-23 applicants first. I don't know why they did it. Perhaps the officer in charge of transferring the Sept 10-18 applicants called in sick since it's a flu season. It could be due to a human error. Who knows. Eventually, they finished transferring all the Sept applicants quickly except for two (PD: 9/20 and 9/30). I have a feeling that next Monday and/or Tuesday will be our turn.

My theory is that they are skipping earlier PDs now so that those dates can be picked up by California Service Center next Monday.. CSC has the fastest approval time now.. so, i would say the skipped guys are the lucky ones given they indeed get transferred to CSC....I don't think not all will be picked up by CSC but majority will be..

At this point, it is all about which service center you get transferred to.. prey for CSC or VSC... These services centers are currently approving petitions transferred even just one week ago whereas NSC is working on cases transferred in December,2013.. TSC is in the middle... so its about which service centers you get transfers to......

I don't think they base it by month, but I could be wrong. It wouldn't make sense to reward only the people who apply in the first 2 weeks of each month with a faster approving service center.. what sense would that make for the ones who applied earlier but were in the last 2 weeks of the prior month???

Our October transfer sheet is looking great! https://docs.google....eUE&usp=sharing Thank you very much for updating it.

There are only 49 applicants listed on the October transfer sheet. It's the fewest number of applicants since Feb.

Feb: 40 applicants

Mar: 131 applicants

April: 163 applicants

May: 93 applicants

June: 92 applicants

July: 92 applicants

Aug: 97 applicants

Sept: 79 applicants

Oct: 49 applicants

It was interesting to see which service center the post Oct 21 applicants got sent to. I see 7 Nebraska, 6 Vermont, and 2 Texas (no California?). I wonder how USCIS decided which service center they sent the applications to. It doesn't look like they went by the date. It may be just random.

I don't think any post 10/21 files went to CSC... Probably cause they would get approved on the spot! :P

I'm really hoping that the fact that no VJ members were transferred to Nebraska in August and less in Sept compared to California and Texas gives Nebraska a chance to catch up and bring that centre's approval time down! (assuming that VJ is a good sample of all applications received!)
