Okay, I'm starting to feel excitement on this forum, maybe USCIS will start transferring October petitions by the end of this, beginning of next week...

Do you think we should start preparing for the NVC stage? I read that the beneficiary will only need to fill 2 forms, DS-3032 - "Choice of address and agent" and DS-260 "Immigration visa and alien registration application".

On this website, when I open the link DS-260 I can see two documents, 260 and 261 - "Online choice of address and agent". Does this mean that I don't have to fill DS-3032?

Thanks

you are correct. the procedures for this part of the process change recently. you'll take care of those two particular forms online. check out Saylin's NVC thread for all the details:

Thanks you so much, so because i am already transferred i must expect no transfer even not transfer to Local USCIS office (do you think i must get local office transfer notice just or not even ?)

You were never transferred , you got ROUTED from LOCKBOX to the Service Center .

As Bluberry said : this note about local office transfers is a glitch and no one actually is being transferred there ( probably because uscis is to lazy to fix their notifications - so instead saying that case is being transferred to SC they have this OLD one with the local office ). So the next notice you are going to get is just your NOA2,hopefully or RFE (not wishing you of course) from NSC, unless something changes.

:)

Good Morning, How can I find the October filers spread sheet? I am starting to get to so excited, this long process is finally moving along. Please direct me to the spreadsheet. My NOA1 date is 10/7/13.

Good Luck to everyone without Visa Journey this would have been impossible.

So, what is the approximate average approval time that we are seeing on VJ once a case is transferred? Two months, if all goes well? I am trying to put together some sort of rough estimated timeline in my head, based on what we are seeing for previous cases/months on this board. Just typical cases, nothing too extraordinary.

My thoughts are:

NOA1.....1 week

NBC.....5 months

Transfer.....

NOA2.....2 months post transfer

NVC/Interviews, etc.....2 months

So a rough guesstimate of about 9 months, end to end? Is that we are kinda aiming for? Give or take? If so, we are looking at July/August...ish?

Anybody that can add some meat to this SWAG theory? Or add some more info? Or am I just whacked out hopeful and we all really know that there is no sort of predictability, reliability model or sane way of estimating USCIS? Hahahahaha

October filers, I'm getting really excited for you. I'm November and won't be a transfer but all this activity is wonderful. I just hope Vermont doesn't remain the sleeping quadruplet in the cot for too long :)
