How bout still waiting on NOA2 for I-130 that was filed 10/24/13. #######!

that is sad, I filed on 11/25/13 and approved on april 30,2014.

Three service requests, first one was the only one which gave us a response (said 30 til finished, that was in June. Waiting on results from congressional inquiry and we're trying to have ombudsman on it as well.

Heartbreaking to be apart from each other for so long and still so much longer to go even if we got NOA2 today.

Sorry to hear this. hang in there... NVC is backlogged but they also increased fees recently so hope they would hire more people to clear backlog.

per some comments in the NVC September thread, NVC is processing packages scanned between July 11th and July 15th

Yes, I called NVC and found out that my case was complete but I called after I saw N/A on the online status for AOS fee..I was "COMPLETE" status first but since it changed into N/A I was curious and I called them and they confirmed that my case was complete..I called the next day again just to double check and they gave me a date when it was completed

I got the interview date of October 14th on the 23rd day since the case was completed, now I'm just waiting for this waiting game to be over!! Good luck !!

10/21/2013 NAO 1

05/01/2014 Approved

6/23/2014 Case # assigned

09/04 /2014 I recieved an email saying my case is completed and within 30 to 60 days the embassy should make an appointment.

When was your last documents scanned by NVC or sent by you?

Hi everybody!

Our PD is Oct. 28th 2013, and we're now at the NVC, the AOS and the IV documents were both sent and received by the NVC on August 28th 2014, and now they emailed us that they got our documents and told us about the 60 days waiting because of the increased number of applications approved.

Is anybody else received this email about waiting 60 days too?

And how do you know when your packages are scanned??

Since my lawyer did all the paper works, I am not sure when documents were scanned. FYI here is what the letter said

Dear Sir/Madam,

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

yes I also received the same letter unfortunately!!! call and find out if they received the packets that you sent. That way you will know if they scanned them already, but remember that doesn't mean they read them yet

It's taking around 8 weeks to process your documents, this is why I was asking when your documents were scanned by NVC

I believe they are working on documents scanned on July 15th.

Also, It takes about a week after you send your documents to be scanned then you have to wait 8 weeks, long wait ....

so, i received my NOA1 October 1st, 2013. When I check online or speak to a tier 2 officer, my case is still under initial review. my husband has a tricky case, but is USCIS allowed to just simply never make a decision? it's been almost a year now.
