My husband and I have been waiting since January 2014. Seventeen years together. We filed in Oct and Dec, nothing. I had to phone in April of 2014 and was told by USCIS agents and supervisors 6 times that my husband could come to the U.S. and we file the 1-129f when he got here. Stopped at the border and told no, that was the wrong information.

Still waiting, congressional inquiry, White House letter, several requests and still nothing.

I think I will be moving to Vancouver, disappointed with my country and their actions.

PS. I served in the USAF for 10 years, what for? The disrespect from this process has left me thinking how backwards this country is, their lack of accountability is weakening.

Sorry, I'm a little confused. You filed in Oct AND Dec, 2013? :huh2:

But your NOA1 is Jan 28th so it's still within an average timeline. :star:

You may get an NOA2 soon! Fingers crossed!

You're moving to Vancouver (in Canada), eh? I'm in Vancouver (probably for 3 more months).

Just filed e-request this morning...fingers crossed for a NOA2 very soon.

Thanks to you both for your info.

:-)

P.S. After receiving NOA2, how long have most ppl been waiting between receipt of I-130 NOA2 until interview in Canada (Is there any interviews being done at the Toronto consulate , or is it just Montreal for the east coast)

Any updates, buddy?

Still nothing. No response for the e-request. My husband sent back a form from our congresswoman to finalize info for a congressional inquiry. Hopefully that may help.

Thinking that the best thing at this point will be a response for our I-129F. It was filed on Feb. 14th so according to their processing times we could get a approval on that at any time. Not holding my breath though. As our I-130 is now going on 10 months with nothing.

sorry to hear that. If you don't receive any answer from your service requests after the date you were supposed to receive it, you can also request assistance from DHS Ombudsman office. Here's the link. http://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance

I just noticed that some people who file their i-130 at their foreign country got all the process done in one or two months. Its so sad that we didn't know this.

Does it ask for anything specific, or does it ask for an entire package/form that you've already sent in?

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

No, if you aren't registered and set up for electronic processing, you can't just email them. You'll just have to send the new, completed I-864 via mail.

Are you at the NVC stage? :huh2: If so, I suggest that you post your questions on http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/508139-nvc-filers-august-2014/ so someone can answer your questions. This thread is almost "retired" since most of the Oct filers are at the NVC or interview stage now.
