Thanks very much.

No address changes, service requests have been filed by our lawyer. Think I'm going to try and call tomorrow to see if I can put in another one...don't know if calling myself will make any difference with a (hopefully) sympathetic person on the phone (if that even makes any difference).

Are there any other couples that filed in October still waiting for their NOA2, feeling like my app was lost at the back of a filing cabinet?

Don't call. File service request online. You will get response in the email as well if you file it online. There's a link called 'e-request' on the case status page of USCIS.gov. There must be lot of couples waiting from October filers. Here on this site we have very small data set and most of us are approved. Don't take that as something to stress u out though.

There are three Oct filers still waiting for NOA2.

Well, there is a good chance that they haven't updated their timelines or they left Visa Journey and became inactive. -_-

However, 96% of the Oct filers have received NOA2.

Just filed e-request this morning...fingers crossed for a NOA2 very soon.

Thanks to you both for your info.

:-)

P.S. After receiving NOA2, how long have most ppl been waiting between receipt of I-130 NOA2 until interview in Canada (Is there any interviews being done at the Toronto consulate , or is it just Montreal for the east coast)

I got my NOA2 on April 11th. I'm still at the NVC stage and will be there for 2 more months assuming I don't get any checklists. There is a backlog at NVC now. :bonk:

Once I'm done with NVC, I'll get my interview in 1-2 months at the Montreal Consulate.

Unfortunately NVC's online system is useless. You have to call and ask when it got scanned in. Mine took one week from the day they received the packages to the day they scanned it. They say that it will take 30 business days for them to review the docs from the date it is scanned.

Yes. ds-260 filled on 6/15. It appears on the NVC spreadsheet. As for your previous reply, you may want to call at least to confirm they received both packages.

I came over here to grumble :)

I was planning for an Oct interview (some of you were aghast!) and at this point, I don't know if we'll be back for Christmas :(

Many of us in this thread got dumped into nvc right when they started backlogging, big time.

Clearly this is just commiseration by me right mow and a friendly wave to my fellow Oct. Filers.

Looking at your timeline, what date did you send your AoS, what date did they scan it in and has it been approved yet? Did it show anything on the ceac website as it being under review or something or did it just show n/a?

I have sent my AOS and am eagerly awaiting the IV invoice

Aos sent around July 1. With the 4th holiday, it took several days to get there.

Aos scan date of July 11.

No approval yet.

On my invoice page, aos says "paid." I am not sure if that's where you were referring to n/a.

edit: in the summary page, I have n/a for AOS

Can any one please help me.iv application fee is taking more than a month and still not invoiced.i called and was told aos is complete no checklist.am now waiting on iv to be invoiced.thank u

I'm in the same situation as you. I sent my AOS in after I completed the DS-261 and the AOS has already been reviewed and approved. I know it's only a couple of weeks after the 30 business days and NVC have confirmed to myself and my husband they definitely have the DS-261 on file and are waiting to review it, but when you have no timescale, you feel like they're never going to look at it!

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.
