I got my case number on 5/27 :)

I went to CEAC and after I entered the case number, I got:

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) for the next step in the processing of your visa petition. If you have misplaced the instructions sent to you by the NVC or did not receive them, please contact us athttp://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html for additional information.

Will this change once the AOS/IV fees are ready to be paid?

Did u receive any letter from NVC with case number# & IIN # ? Or did u call them ?

I think u cannot log in with IIN number I guess.

We paid AOS and IV fee, and sent DS261 today!

I hope NVC is faster than USCIS:)

You have already paid the IV fee!? :wow: Do you have a lawyer? :huh2:

It's just some people have been waiting for 3 weeks to be able to pay the IV fee. :wacko:

hello chumi.am happy for you.i got case number and invoice number.when filling form ds-261 it asks for a beneficiary id.is it same as invoice number.please reply soon.thank you

It is not the same number. I got 3 different numbers on the phone and then received an email from NVC which tells me 3 numbers.

Chumi, u said ur friend has a lawyer right.

Didvshe receivec any letter fromNVC?

Because lawyers normally ask for the letter from nvc.

Pls ask ur friend and let us know

She said she received an email with 5 attached files from NVC.

Its subtitle includes "DS-1200".

This email is only for ppl who have lawyers?

Hello Everyone our I-130 was approved March 30 2014 and sent/shipped to NVC on April 3 2014. How long from there does NVC send us our case number. I believe it has been 2 months now since then. Please let me know

It took us exactly 6 weeks to get a case number and an IIN.
