Makes sense, thanks for clarifying. At that point, after the case complete, if you do not have a checklist then you are simply waiting for an interview date?

And why would someone get a checklist? Would that be for providing additional evidence (as was sent in the I130 phase), or if you were missing forms (or otherwise incorrectly filled out forms) from the NVC process?

Right, you'd just be waiting for an interview after the case complete. I believe checklists are for missing info/forms. Or if what you submit isn't what they need/want as far as proving financial support with the AOS or maybe a documents with the IV packet. I hope none of us get a checklist.

I didn't have an hour to wait on hold last time I called. (I can't do callbacks since I live overseas--ugh!) I'll talk to Tier 2 on Monday.

We're also waiting for an approval. My husband called couple of weeks ago and spoke to Tier 2 and they will submit a case and my husband was asked to wait for approximately 60 days for the result or callback if in case there's no response from them at all.

I hope Texas SC will do something.

That's strange. Your case was at Vermont Service Center? And now they transferred to some other office?

Yes it was originally routed straight to Vermont Service Center.

I am surprised that they transferred it to some other office. Any red flag in your case you could think of, if you dont mind me asking? Hope it will mean an approval soon at your local office.

Yes, 95% of the Oct filers at NSC have been approved! Good news!

Well, NSC used to be faster approving transferred applications (pre-Oct 22nd).

It seems like all of the service centers including NSC have slowed down in the last 30 days. :bonk:

That's bad news for post-Oct 22nd applicants and November applicants.

I hope they pick up speed soon. :star:

Yeah I think they have slowed down to wait till the NVC load is reduced. None of the centers are as fast as they were in last couple months.
