Hoping, but Oct fliers probably will not be touched until after Feb of next year. Phillipines are now being expedited due to the hurricane. Wife, daughter, and I are prepared for a long wait. Glad to have Skype.

rCHAN72 HOW U KNOW ABOUT THIS?? THAT THEY R NOT GONNA TOUCH OUR FILES UNTIL FEBRUARY NEXT YEAR !!!

Unless some miracle happens, based on processing times, current progress, and issues with USCIS trying to 'see what works best' by transferring cases I'm pretty confident we have a 6-8 month wait... I really hope I'm horribly wrong. However, please don't take my guess as fact, it's only my opinion and myself and my family are prepared to wait, and while waiting, if we get approved earlier than we are guessing, it's a wonderful surprise.

Hello everybody!

I'm writing because I am kind of concerned!unsure.png

I filed my i130 on Oct. 21 using the Express mail Phoenix AZ Lockbox and I have not received any notification yet. I know for sure that they received the package as I checked online and it said "delivered". Do any of you can help me with suggestions? Should I call the Customer Service Center @ 1-800-375-5283

Any other suggestions?

Yes you must call. You should have received your receipt about a week after they received it.

Just adding us to the list... we filed Oct 8 2013.

We got married in August, and would really, really like to move to the US (he's a USC, I'm Canadian) next summer - we both teach music lessons so it would be super nice to be there in time for the new school year. I know it's pretty unlikely, but it does seem like they're picking up some steam lately, so we're still holding out hope!

We're both living in Canada, which is nice, since we get to be together. (Hubby is actually a dual citizen as he was born in Canada to USC parents and then grew up in KS and OR.) I understand that there may be some issues once it comes time for the sponsorship forms, but since we're going to be moving in with my MIL when we move, we do have a US address etc. We've talked about him maybe having to move back to the US ahead of me and getting established, just for that purpose. Is anyone else in the same situation? What are you planning to do about proving residency, if your spouse is not actually physically resident?
