I've called USCIS a couple times to see about putting in a service request. I was told that the system wouldn't allow them to put one in because my case is still inside the processing time. :( I don't understand why there hasn't been any movement on our case. PD 10/4, transferred to NSC on 3/12. I don't think we will get an RFE, but maybe if we do at least Ill know that our case is being looked at! I'm so happy for everyone else that has already been approved. I just want to join the group! haha :(

I keep seeing that you guys are saying that you're hoping for an October arrival into the US. Is July out of the question? I'm hoping we get approval this week or at least before April is over. Get a NVC case number by the end of May, first week of June. Then begin the process of sending stuff in and applying for the actual visa. How quickly do you guys think this process can be done? I have all the AOS documents already and my husband has all his documents ready to go for the IV package. Is it unrealistic to think he could be home sometime in July? I think the Sydney consulate is pretty fast for interviews. Any thoughts you all might have will help ease my mind during this wait......

I am surprised they wouldn't let you put in a service request. They let me file one the other week (my PD was 10/1). It didn't end up mattering, because my case had been approved anyhow (system wasn't updated), but still- the lady told me that yes, my case was out of processing time. They really should let you- it is very odd they are not. It honestly seems like who you get on the phone.

As far as July....that seems really hopeful especially since you don't have an approval yet. Let's say you get approved by May 1st... I would factor in at least 2 months at NVC. That would bring you to July1st. Waiting an interview and issuing a visa is not going to take less than a month or two at the consulate. That's like August or September. And that's if it's as fast as you think. I hope for your sake it is very fast :) I have heard that the wait for an interview in Cairo can be 4-6 months. I had no idea. Argh.

Excellent! I did the same and my petition was approved in less than two weeks. Make sure you give them your email address and note down confirmation number they give you. Good luck!

Hello guys, Congratulations for all previous approvals. I am October 21 filer i am repeating all time but i want it to be clear. Nebraska reviewing time published by USCIS is 5 month so my case is pending 6 month and 1 day exactly, so my wife who is my petitioner went in USA couple days ago temporarily, she called and USCIS and made service request they asked her several questions and said it is registered and we need to contact them if we arent reviewed among next 15 days. she was very attentive. Despite of i know based on our spreadsheets that probably my case must be reviewed soo i decided to do it just in case.

Would anyone have the number to call for Texas service center? Or is the number the same for all? This is six months now and even though I know TSC is slow, I am getting a strong urge to give them a call. Thanks for your help if anyone can pass along the number.

I never got notification by email or text but today in the morning I got it by mail. We were approved on April 14. I am so happy!

Congrats! That's strange since I thought USCIS had updated their system (if you have signed up for their email/text notification alert).

NSC was ON FIRE last Thursday and Friday. So many approvals. Well, it's been very quiet for the last two days. I hope they didn't burn out.

Well, I have a feeling that most Oct filers will be approved by the end of this month or early next month. Fingers crossed!
