How I will know that NVC receive my aproved letter from USCIS.When I am calling they are asking me to wait 60 days. :crying:

If someone can help me regarding this issue.

According to James' Shortcuts, you can call NVC to find out if they have received your case. http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/James's_Shortcuts It sounds like you have done it already.

I just checked the NVC spreadsheet, it looks like they usually receive it in two weeks. You can call them back next week. :clock:

Wish I filed before the 21st. My file would go to VSC straight away. I really doubt they will check us anytime soon.

I think they are almost done with 0ct 12 tranfr and now they are processeing oct 7 transfers.

Once they are done with that, then its sure they will open our cases.

Hope we will hear something next week

Good luck for us

Any approval emails today? It's strange because we've had only 5 approvals since last Tuesday (average of fewer than 1 approval per day) for the last 6 business days. The Sept group has been also very quiet. :(

I hope VSC, NSC, and TSC finish processing transferred applications and move on to post-Oct 21 applications soon.

Remember that VJ filers probably represent a fraction of the applicants. I'm sure they're moving along. People on VJ are also inconsistent about posting on their timelines and updating their progress.

I dont know why Nebraska stopped frequent approvals! Do they have Pre-Easter or what happens i dont know. If our groom size was enough for another days to see approvals why everything froze now? Probably bc they are approving super little size of filers, Nebraska awake!

Does anyone know, if your case is being expedited at USCIS, is it then also expedited through NVC, or is that a separate expedite ?

Hey guys just wanted to provide an update to the numbers I watch from NSC. On Monday 4/14/2014 17 people I130's were approved. Its the biggest number change I have saw with the numbers I track. There appears to be a lot of movement in around 160 numbers before mine. Does it mean something? Sure one day Ill get my approval. Until then ill just keep getting excited about everyone else's approvals. The other thing I wanted to mention is that I checked these numbers at 8 am yesterday morning and nothing had changed. So at some point yesterday or last night they sent out the approvals based off Monday so hopefully we will see others on VJ who got approved on Monday.

Congrats! I just updated the spreadsheet. :)

Imathomeostasis has also received the approval email from TSC last night. She notified me via the I-130 Filers Facebook group.

Now 50% of us have received the approval emails (NOA2)! :wow:

CSC: 75%

VSC: 40%

NSC: 55%

TSC: 33%

Total: 50%

I hope more people receive the approval emails this week! Fingers crossed!

Thank you so much for updating the spreadsheet! It has been an exciting couple of days :dancing:

I am hoping that TSC moves along faster, as they have seemed to be very slow the past week or so :( Hang in there everyone!

Hey there, Thats good news. I don't know but I also believe that most of them could be people filing for I-130s from within the USA. As concurrent filing is available for them, of I-130 and I-485 there cases are most definitely processed within 5 months. Though I could be completely wrong and maybe later today people will start mentioning hey got their I-130s approved. fingers crossed...

Unfortunately, you'll need to request to get expedited at each stage (USCIS, NVC, and Embassy/Consulate). :(

However, I heard that getting expedited at the NVC stage was not going to make much difference. I'm not 100% sure. You can ask this question on the NVC - April 2014 thread just to double check. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/488577-nvc-filers-april-2014/ Good luck!

I think its ridiculous that they are even glimpsing at November files before they even touch past Oct. 22nd apps.

There seems to be a lone ranger at NSC that approves a few files within the 5 month period to make the processing time numbers "look real".
