I agree- things are toooo slow with the VSC. I just filed a service request today because I am getting a bit frustrated (my PD is 10/1). You could always give it a try. I did it because I figured it couldn't hurt. I hope this week VSC filers will have better luck!

Good luck , hope the service request works for you.

Yeah I will give a try. Im praying...

Stay positive, everything will be good....... :)

I made some research and i want to share it to you! Mostly it will be useful for Nebraska filers!

First for Nebraska filers average time between NOA1-NOA2 is 176 based on October spreadsheet and same for September is 184! so we are near approval guys i am sure, personally i am on my 174 days so over average October and around after 1 week same as average of September. So i am positive about it and you have to be too.

Second reason is: My case number starts with LIN (Lincoln, NEBRASKA)149004337#, i went deep and found out that we have much approvals around numbers LIN149004 134 - LIN149004 250. Those cases got approved 7 - 11 April. Like 120 case got approved in one week. LIN149004 250 + 1 week: 120 case is LIN149004 370 (mine is LIN149004337#), Based on another research it tells us 1 more week before approval (of course if case got not lucky it will take forever)!

I have two reason think approval is near with little delay 2 week max. I think me and around almost all October Nebraska filers must get approved till end of the month.

So I called USCIS today and I did file a service request. I talked to the first person on the phone (tier 1) and the representative did it for me. She just asked me the normal info/ questions and confirmed that I was in fact out of processing time (my priority date is 10/1). There was no mention of waiting 60 days after the transfer or anything. She did it and gave me a reference number

I have no idea if the service request will make any difference, but hey, I tried. Can't hurt. Seems it did work for some people in the September group.

Heyyy, thank you so much for sharing:)!

Service request sounds great. I hope your case will be approved soon.

I told my husband about your story n he said he will try it too. Our PD is Oct7.

I have not heard from USCIS yet today. Please USCIS! Go go go!

Congrats! I just updated the spreadsheet. :)

Imathomeostasis has also received the approval email from TSC last night. She notified me via the I-130 Filers Facebook group.

Now 50% of us have received the approval emails (NOA2)! :wow:

CSC: 75%

VSC: 40%

NSC: 55%

TSC: 33%

Total: 50%

I hope more people receive the approval emails this week! Fingers crossed!

For those of you who got approved-did you also file I129F?

Thanks!

Nope. I didn't see the point.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Yes, try it :) Can't hurt!

I used this when I called to get a representative really quickly- I read it either here or on the September board and it worked great:

"When you dial 1800 number, press 1,2,2,2 and someone will answer your call in 30 seconds"

I honestly think it just depends who you talk to as far as the service request. Hopefully your case will get approve soon :)

Good luck , hope the service request works for you.

Yeah I will give a try. Im praying...

Stay positive, everything will be good....... :)

Thanks! Let's hope so! I know we have a very small sample size, but it seemed like soon after the transfers there was a bunch of VSC approvals and then nothing much since. Hmmm? Maybe this week will be our week! :)

Well, two people requested to be added to the Oct transfer sheet (so I added their names). They're still waiting for the approval emails. :clock:
