I wouldn't go that far. The GOP is only good for white, male, christian, straight, rich to wealthy people. If you don't fall into this category, which is becoming more than 50% of this country, they don't want you. What's bad is they come out and said this at least once a week. Whether it's saying something deragatory about women, minorities, muslims, or gays, they never fail to illustrate total disdain for folks that fall into that demographic.

Being a black muslim, it's like they have twice the reason to hate me, all they have to do is flip a coin and choose one.

Marv, the clientele you describe there is far less than 50%. Males are less than 50%. Of those, only 65% or so are white. Of those maybe 80% are Christian and of those maybe 95% are straight. So now you're talking about roughly 25% of the population. And not all of them are rich to wealthy. That would probably be less than 40% of that segment. So now you're looking at 10% of the population. And then you know why they need to suppress the vote. Otherwise, they can't win.

I read the article, what posesses you to even ask that question? I think you like to hear yourself type.

I know what they want and I'm saying this is not a problem that needs fixing. You seem to think it is, or it will be in the future. How do you make that determination? Is voter fraud even a problem now? What makes you think it will be? The gov't never uses foresight, what they do is waste time and money on things that don't need fixing, that goes for both sides.

What about the elderly who might not have proof of their US citizenship? What then?

I think they thought if non property owners could vote, the would vote in whoever promised to give them the most free stuff by taking it away from the land owners
