Obama Resists Talks With Boehner 'Under the Threat' of Default

Seriously? "First you have to do things MY way and then I will talk to you" ?????

This is the same guy that invades other countries, kills and kidnaps its citizens without a trial or even a warrant, threatens cruise missile attacks and then runs away...

And now he doesn't want to talk to Boehner "under threat". There will BE NO default on October 17th unless Obama says there will be. The US treasury has plenty of money to pay the current bills. What is sought is an increase in the debt limit. This does NOT mean we cannot pay existing committments, unless Obama tells someone not to.

He is a childish, whining little wuss.

He can actually CLOSE the government today if he wants to...but he has no testicles. If he ACTUALLY shut down the government the Republicans may cave in to him. As it is now, he either needs to shut down the government (REALLY shut it down, not leave 87% of it functional AND promise back pay to the 13% which were laid off) OR he needs to agree to give the same waivers to everyone that he gave to Walmart and the Teamsters...and Congress.

The Repubs have no reason to change their position otherwise. There will be no default. They know it, Obama knows it. Obama is hoping YOU don't know it.

Obama is a puss-puss. He surrendered to the NRA, Putin, Syria, Iran and North Korea. No one takes him seriously. He cannot even close Gitmo. He has not "shut down the goverment" as he threatened to. Who would listen to him?

The longer he holds his breath, the more ridiculous he looks.

It is the House of Representatives responsibility to fund the government. They have. Only the whiny Democrats and Obama are preventing our government from functioning normally.

That's nothing compared to what libs said in the 90's. But we got 4 years of balanced budgets (and the presidency)

Nobody cares how long non-essential government employees are furloughed. Hopefully they will gum up resumes and find work elsewhere.

It is funny that when libs get cornered they start name-calling and labeling. "Terrorists" indeed! LOL. Those congressmen got sent to Congress to roll back the spending and that's exactly what they are doing. If there was such a groundswell of support for borrowing, spending, and obamacare I guess pelosi's party would still be in charge. There isn't and they aren't so I guess libs either have to cut their borrowing and spending or their little grubby thieving lib hands will just stay tied.

Either way, if it comes to default I dam sure betcha after the smoke clears neither party will be able to buy things with future money again, and overall in the long term THAT is a good thing.
