Any Guam POE experience to say if 1hr 26Min is enough time?

So any previous Filipinos traveling through Guam as a POE on a K1 with 2 kids?

Is 1 hour 26 minutes enough time for POE and catching a connecting flight to Honolulu? It is the longest stretch of layover time available with United Airlines.

​Thanks for any advice as all my other choice flight doubled in price in just 50 days. This is for travel in early-mid January 2014.

It is possible this is enough time but also possible it is not. What if your plane is slightly late? How long to walk from one gate to immigration to the other gate while taking two kids along.

You will have enough time. I would offer one suggestion to you.

For the flight into Guam AND the flight into Honolulu, pay the extra fee to get her a seat near the door.

This way she can get out fast before the rest of the passengers and get processing her entry.

You will not need to pay extra fee for flight from Hononlulu to main land U.S. as she will already be in the U.S. after Honolulu.

Please keep in mind that some dates are only known after receipt of another document.
For example, the USPS Form 3811. The stamped receiving date was not know until the original Form 3811 was received on 07/13/2013 1:30 p/m CST.

You should have enough time. USCIS agents have seen many K1/K2 visa holders and it will only take them a few minutes to process the POE. The longest wait will be the queue for the next available agent, but there will be a good number of them due several flights from other International originating flights that land around the same time. Its hard to say how quickly/slowly this will be but there are many other VJ members who have made Guam their POE without missing a flight.

Be sure to check your bags all the way to your final destination. After USCIS do not go down to the lower level which is Guam Customs. Customs is only if your final destination is Guam. You can proceed to directly through the transiting passengers door and you will be required to clear TSA Screening at this point. The gate for the Honolulu/Houston filght is almost directly across the TSA Screening area. What's important here is you must go to a US destination after Guam. Do not book a Manila-Guam-Tokyo-US ticket otherwise you will have a problem.

My Wife Flew from Manila to Guam to Honolulu to Chicago on united airlines she just passed through Guam her POE was Honolulu. It only took a few minute to get through make sure you have enough money for the exit tax from Manlia. Her interview in Honolulu POE was 20 min wait time and all. Best of luck to all of you

How was that? Your POE is where you enter the US for the first time. Pretty sure Guam qualifies as her POE. Glad it worked for you, but not sure why it did...
