Easy son.... after 8 years of Obama.... anything is possible.

Yes it's been so horrible. He stopped the economic free fall, got us out of Iraq and passed healthcare. All in two years, because he hasn't been able to do anything since the TP obstructionist got into office.

I'm fairly sure most American's are not as unhappy as the Republican's seem to be about everything...yet they do nothing to try and make the economy better. Well except b!tch and moan about the president.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

It's almost as if they cannot see how incredibly idiotic their "superstars" of the Republican party are.

Most sane people listen to Ted Cruz talk and realize number one, he's phony as hell and number two, he's very creepy and three he's crazy.

If he wasn't a politician he'd be selling used cars in Houston.

They live in an alternate universe. They believe that most Americans think like they do. They don't realize just how far out there they are because they literally live in the right wing echo chamber. It's hilarious. They should really nominate one of their absolute wackos - like Ted Cruz - to the top of their ticket. Maybe a defeat worse far than what they were handed in 2012 would get through to them. I doubt it but it might be worth a shot.

Bro, this is yet another opportunity to show how little you know on yet another topic.

At some point in time you are going to have to do a little reading.. and no, Mother Jones does not count.

And to be honest, I had no Idea the man had this much under his belt either.

Proving once again that no amount of degrees can give an idiot common sense. Listen to him talk 5 minutes and you'll see that he's not even above average...well I should consider his audience. The tea party doesn't require much intellect to be enthralled.

Somehow, he's gotten the Perry Sauce into his system, and it's really messed him up.

Yeah, and He has the Supreme Court fooled too, except for you of course, you can see these half-wits a mile away.

Feel free to list your resume that we all might marvel.

Actually, the Tea Party despises intellect. Education is considered elitist and snobby. Just look around here.

If Mitt Romney was too extreme and out of touch for the majority of voters, I have no idea why anyone would think Cruz stood a chance.

It's comical to watch the Republican party self destruct. Republicans as a whole equal about 30% of the population and they depend on a good chunk of Independents to win major elections. The right wing extreme Tea Party members don't even equal 50% of the Republican Party, but that's what they're going with as their platform. Brilliant!

They're very good at firing up their base (just look at some of the posters here, especially in this thread) ... they just fail to realize that they've lost everyone else.

not about 30% - more % than democrats and increasing.

Rasmussen polls that on a regular basis - for July 2012, the breakdown is as follows; Republican = 35.4% Democrat = 34.0% Independent = 30.6% Interestingly, that's a dramatic change from 2008 when the split was 39% Democrat, 32% Republican and 29% Independent.

Immerse yourself in the right wing echo chamber to find out why anyone would think that. It's a different world. Literally.

Hah, Rasmussen. Brings me back to a year ago and their "Romney is leading!" daily polls.

Romney is President, didn't you know?
